Chapter 40 - TRUMP CARD AND DEATH

As the attack slammed into me, a deafening "KA-BOOM!" echoed through the air, sending shockwaves coursing through my body. I stumbled, my vision blurring, and my consciousness teetering on the edge.

"System! System now do it " I screamed in desperation, but my voice was drowned out by the cacophony of demonic laughter – "Hahahahaha!" – .

A shock occured in my head

Everything went dark.....

When I came to, I was enveloped in an eerie, pulsating glow. The air was heavy with malevolent energy, and the stench of decay hung like a miasma.

The demons' maniacal laughter still echoed in my mind – "Hehehe.. the girl is now dead now panchal you can take your sister and mother alive !" – as I struggled to regain my bearings

My gaze fell upon the system screen

- 12 enemy signs glared back at me in red colour ,

And 11 dots , their pure white icons pulsing

But 1 icon, shone bright white with hints of blue

A cold sweat broke out on my brow. The previous attack had left me on the precipice of destruction

My breath caught in my throat as I realized...

"One wrong move... and it's all over."

My body trembled, my heart racing like a drum – "Boom-boom-boom!" – as I grasped the gravity of my situation:

HP: 1

Energy/MP: 1

Strength: 1

If it wasn't at last moment I had said to system this was always my plan for situation like this as attacked had reached me I realise I amy survive but I could get unconscious resulting in failure and stop of my atta k so deliberately I had command system that it shocked me and let me get unconscious and as I can let myaelf conscious get me conscioused again

The weight of my vulnerability crushed me. A single misstep would seal my fate.

As the demon's voice resonated, boasting of their victory, my anger ignited:

"This beasts are defeated, and the girl is dead... After that those dragon kid and those heir of light after there death none can stop us from conquering the universeWe'll enslave this beast and rule supreme!"

My fury knew no bounds. How dare they threaten my family?

"System, attack formation!" I growled, disregarding the warning: "Host, using this attack now ensures no chance of survival."

"I don't care!" I snarled, laughter bubbling up from my depths.

As I laughed, the dark energy clouds surrounding me dissipated, replaced by a brilliant golden light. My enemies recoiled, shocked.

Spitting blood from my mouth, I declared:

"You dare threaten my loved ones? You'll pay with your lives!"

With unwavering resolve, I invoked the ancient incantation

"प्रकाशदेवस्य वारिसत्वेन नाम्ना तमः अन्धकारपुतलीशोधनं च आज्ञापयामि लघु तत्व कौशल प्रान्त अधिपत्यः :: आत्मा विनाशः तथा सुधिकरण"

("By the name of the God of Light, I command destruction and purification of darkness and its puppets. Light Elemental Skill: Region Dominance – Soul Destruction and Purification.")

As I spoke, a brilliant golden light enveloped the area, shocking all. But even to shock me Suddenly a silver lightning entwined the radiance, and my wings unfurled, spanning eight feet wide. My canine teeth lengthened and I feel my skill power increased

The demons, trapped in the light, slowed, their movements hindered. Even the beasts, initially resistant, were now encased in the golden glow. The demons' screams echoed through the air as their strength waned.

So I screamed voice pierced the chaos: "Attack now! All the demons here whose level are above me wil go down to only above of 2 level to me now attack them this could last for some second as I am weak and they are already so much and stronger than me finish them or make them highly injured now as I said

The demons, once far superior, were now at level 5. The beasts, sensing victory, descended upon them. Fangs bared, claws unsheathed, they tore into the demons. Blood sprayed everywhere.

But amidst the carnage, 3-4 demons proved resilient, their dark energy resisting the light's effects.

The battle raged on. A final attack struck, and I felt my vitality ebb away.

My system alerts flashed:

MP: 0

Health: 0

As the darkness closed in, my eyes shut, and everything went black.

As I opened my eyes again, I was stunned. How was I alive?

Before me stood a being radiating brilliant light, its presence both calming and awe-inspiring. I instinctively knew this was the God of Light.

A gentle, soothing voice emanated from the light: "Aysha, you've sacrificed yourself again. This can't continue. Your life is precious, and I won't always be able to revive you."

"As you used my skill, and it bound me to revive you," the God continued. "But remember, your soul has traversed the afterlife and death realm many times. Don't be reckless again. I want you to succeed in life, to become a true warrior of light against darkness you can't always sacrifice your today death could result in mass destruction in future be alert ."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I tried to speak, but before I could, the light enveloped me once more.

When I opened my eyes again, I found myself on Planet again under the warm sun. The sky above was a brilliant blue.

A flint cry reached my ears, . I turned to see Eshu and Prapti sobbing uncontrollably, held by Saraswati Mam and Arpita

My friends, family, sect members, and even the beasts surrounded me, their faces etched with concern.

As I rose from the funeral pyre, the flames extinguished, and I stood tall. The crowd gasped in shock.

"Ghost! Ghost! Ghost!" multiple screams echoed through the air as people panicked and fled. Even Saraswati Mam and Arpita rushed back, grabbing Eshu and Prapti to shield them.

But I couldn't help it – I burst into laughter, my energy pulsating and my voice echoed "I'm alive! I'm not a ghost! Don't worry!"

My words calmed the crowd slightly, though fear still lingered. Eshu and Prapti broke free from Arpita's grasp and sprinted toward me, embracing me tightly. Tears streamed down their faces, and they didn't need to say a word – their emotions spoke volumes.

Arpita and Saraswati Mam followed, hugging me warmly. The silence that filled the air was a testament to the shock and relief.

As I greeted others, the school's usual chatter ceased. But I noticed some faces were missing.

"Arpita, where are the others?" I asked.

Arpita's expression turned somber. "After you... passed away, many were devastated. Your brother, Ryu, Akshara, Raj, and some others... they went into isolation to train themselves, seeking solace in their grief. I only returned today for your funeral... but it's fortunate you're alive."
