Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 This is all art

Along the way, the soldiers eagerly rode tricycles, while Zhao Guang himself sat at the back of the overloaded tricycle, chatting with the other soldiers. This time was much more relaxing than the last.

But the soldiers here sure have great endurance, to ride such a heavy load with ease.

The feeling was so light, it was almost like riding a bicycle. If it weren't for deliberately slowing down to prevent things from falling off, the speed of the tricycle could probably have been pushed even faster.

Nothing much had happened at the military camp during this time; life was as bland as usual.

Despite the back-and-forth on the front lines, it was mostly minor skirmishes, no major battles.

Finally, they arrived once again at the human military camp. As soon as he entered, Zhao Guang heard a loud roar, "Where have you two run off to this time? Every time there's serious work to be done, you two deserters just run away, don't you?"

When Zhao Guang looked towards the direction of the voice, well, it was quite the eyesore.

There was Lord Ocoro, stark naked, twisting his fat buttocks in an odd pose. One hand was leaning on a tree in front while the other hand covered his crotch, and he was swaying to and fro.

This posture was really awkward to behold.

"Lord Zhao Guang, please talk to Lord Ocoro. Ever since you left last time, Lord Ocoro has been continuously practicing this pose, believing it will enable him to use that special treasure,"

Jack wore a look of dread, "The worst part is, Lord Ocoro has also been making us practice with him."

Good grief, Zhao Guang exclaimed inwardly, this was seriously flamboyant.

Looking around at the others, everyone looked like they wanted to watch but dared not, and tried to stifle their laughter, it was a wonder how Lord Ocoro kept up with it. Anyone else would have been too embarrassed to show their face by now.

"Pfft, what's the big deal about performing a few special poses to use a Space Treasure, you ignorant fools," scoffed Ocoro.

Ocoro glanced around through his side-eye then stood up, wrapping a piece of cloth around his waist and walked over. Thank goodness, at least he had a cloth and was not completely bare as he approached.

"Greetings, Lord Ocoro," Zhao Guang bowed slightly.

Even though this fellow didn't seem reliable, he was still a noble. If he offended this guy and it impacted his business, wouldn't it be just a matter of saying a few nice words?

"Lord Zhao Guang, how do you think I'm doing with my training?"

Perhaps because Zhao Guang could use Space Items, which were typically for Mages only.

Whether it was his background or Zhao Guang himself, he was certainly not an ordinary person, so this time Ocoro did not look at Zhao Guang with that trash-like gaze. But from Ocoro's words, it seemed he still looked down on Zhao Guang.

Zhao Guang's eyes flickered, and then he gave a thumbs up.

"That's a fantastic move. With practice like this, you'll surely become a Master of Art."

"Art, Master of Art?" Ocoro seemed to have caught onto something peculiar. This was supposed to be a way to use treasures, wasn't it? What did it have to do with art? As a noble, he was very sensitive to the subject of art.

"Of course, think about it, the greatest art is the human body itself. This is the art of the human body," Zhao Guang explained.

Zhao Guang even demonstrated a contorted move, but seeing this action, Ocoro's eyes lit up.

That was art, sublime art. "You're right, this is indeed the most primal art of the human body. Humph, once I've mastered it, I'll show those damned bastards, and see who dares call me vulgar then."

How crude, many thought to themselves as they witnessed the scene.

"You must teach me—this is a noble art, far more meaningful than those damned odious coins."

"Haha, well, I don't know much about that stuff, after all, art is too exquisite for me. How about this, later I'll bring you some books on art," Zhao Guang didn't want to get entangled with this guy.

As long as he didn't interfere with his own affairs, that was best.

"Then it's settled, next time you must bring me some artworks."

Afterward, Ocoro turned to Jack and Hans, "You two, come and train with me."

What! Oh my God, how did it come to this. Instead of being saved, they had dug their own grave. The two of them glared at Zhao Guang with eyes full of resentment, this was not what they had been waiting for.

Zhao Guang sent them a helpless look, what could he do?

In such a matter, even greater nobles would probably have no way to deal with him. Haven't you seen that even Yars is powerless against Ocoro? So, you two just fend for yourselves, it's your own fault for not having connections.

Watching the two being dragged away by Ocoro, followed by a group of hefty men surrounding them, the sight was just too much to bear.

I can't watch, I dare not watch anymore, Zhao Guang feared that seeing too much would give him nightmares.

He called out to the person driving the cart, urging to quickly find Yars.

As soon as Yars heard Zhao Guang had arrived, he had already come out of his tent to wait.

"I heard you told Ocoro that what he does is an art form?" Yars cringed at the thought of Ocoro's behavior; it was simply scandalous.

Zhao Guang hurriedly nodded, "Of course, in my homeland, there is a group of people who specifically study this art."

He hadn't lied; it was true, though it had never been recognized by the mainstream.

Yars let out a sigh of relief, "I see, then there's no problem. You seem to understand art. You should know, deceiving the nobles is not a good thing."

A cold sweat broke out on Zhao Guang's forehead as he nearly crossed a line; he realized he needed to be more careful in the future.

If he had said it was all a trick just now, he would have been the one in trouble.

"How could I? We value our reputation in business, and it's more important than anything else. Right, let me show you what I've brought this time." Zhao Guang had the soldiers unload the cargo.

"Fine salt? Good stuff, the mages and alchemists have monopolized it, and it's too expensive. The quality of yours is very high; it could work if the price is a bit lower."

It would be a waste to feed this to the soldiers; if he sold it to other nobles, he would make a fortune.

"You decide on the price," Zhao Guang had no idea how much this stuff should cost.

Yars looked meaningfully at Zhao Guang, the young man was clever. On the surface, it sounded like he was letting Yars name any price, and probably wouldn't haggle even if he quoted a rock-bottom price. But what about in the future? There might be no such luck then.

"Rest assured, I will definitely give you a reasonable price. Also, what are these?" Yars's curiosity and interest were piqued by the brightly colored packaging.
