This was a blatant disregard, Meng Chenyi furrowed his brows slightly. He stared at Xiao Han but showed no reaction.
Xiao Han walked up to Su Muqing, ignoring the livid face of Su Quanwei. He took Su Muqing's hand and then addressed everyone, "Today is the day of my engagement to Qingqing. Thank you all for attending the banquet."
As his voice trailed off, no one spoke.
It was clear to everyone that something was amiss. Su Muqing was supposed to be engaged, but certainly not to the man before them, there was someone else intended. Su Quanwei's livid face was evident; he was obviously furious.
Meng Chenyi glanced at Jiang He, signaling that it was time for him to step in. Originally, the star of this engagement was supposed to be Jiang He. Now that his fiancee was nearly taken by another, his indifference was unacceptable.
"Xiao Han, let go of her hand," arose Jiang He's voice, filled with rage.
