CHAPTER TWO
Fired Before Work
Octavia's POV
"Where on earth have you been?"Anne asked as soon as I walked into her house.
"I was at the club,but you didn't find me and you are home instead, isn't this unfair?"I asked trying to sound pitiful.
"I searched everywhere for you after you vanished from the danced floor but you were no where to be found so I had to come back home knowing fully well you would locate here once you have sober up,but it appears you haven't."She said glaring at me.
"What do you mean by that? I'm here already which means I have sobered up and if you had searched harder,you would have found me."I said walking into her kitchen to have a glass of water.
"Have you forgotten what today is?"She asked.
"What's today? Today is like every other day so why make it sound like it special?"
"I guess you have gotten a job somewhere else,a job that's more better than SH company,I'm happy for you anyways."
"What! Is it Monday already?" I asked in shocked.
"Nope."She said popping the 'p' as she walked into her room while I ran pass her.
"I guess it's Sunday,we should go clubbing."She said sarcastically.
I decided to ignore her and dashed into the bathroom instead,she is a bit more decent than I am, so I'm sure she has cloth that I can actually wear to an office.
"You should have stopped me from going to the club last night, you of all people know how hard I worked to get interviewed in that company,and I was even hired."
"I tried to stop you,but you chose to get drunk and disappear into thin air."She said.
"I didn't disappear,I was at the club."I insisted as I did my business hurriedly.
"If you were there,why didn't I see you last night,and where did you pass the night when there are no rooms in the club or are you forgetting that it isn't an hotel?"She asked.
"If there are no rooms there, why did I come out of the club and where did I had s*x with that guy?"I asked before I could stop myself.
I'm in for scolding,an endless one right now, I wanted to keep that part to myself but it ended up coming out.
"You did what?"She asked dropping her phone which was previously in her hand.
"Nothing."I said putting on her shoes,it's a good thing we both use the same sizes of cloth and shoes.
"You can't just tell me nothing,you obviously said something just now and I need you to explain."She said.
"I will do that when I'm back, I don't wanna be late on my first day."I said dashing out of the house dressed like a typical office lady.
I look good in the dress though it isn't my style.

Bryan's POV
"So where did you leave us to last night?"Raymond asked staring at me intently.
"We were both drunk so why should I answer that question?"I asked trying to avoid keeping an eye contact with him.
"Something keeps telling me you did something last night and I'm just so curious, I can't help it."He said.
"Well,it's your problem if you are actually curious,I need to get to the office as soon as I can"
"If I had known things would turn out this way,I wouldn't have listened to you when you asked us to wait behind after inspecting the club."I said glaring at him.
"You are only complaining cause you woke up late and I feel you are angry for no reason which makes me feel that something really happened."He said.
Something actually happened,I spent a night with a girl I know nothing about,and she left before I woke up this morning, everything with me was intact including my phones and money which means she is not a sl*t.
I have no idea if it's a good thing or not but the girl seem familiar to me for some strange reason,I can't just help this thing I'm feeling.
If she isn't a sl*t, then who is she and why didn't she wait for me to actually wake before leaving, no woman has ever done that except for one, who the heck was that lady?
I came to this part of the city to inspect our bar here to see if everything was actually going well, I only do that once in a while cause I have lot of other business to take care of, but out of my busy schedule, I make out time to see how my managers are running the business so I go there as an ordinary customer just like I did.
Raymond decided to tag along when he heard it was a bar and he lured me into staying behind, now I woke up late, I'm the CEO, but this isn't an attribute I want to inculcate.
"We will get there soon, don't worry much,I'm just glad you had a little fun."
"And that little fun would keep me behind my schedule."I said rolling my eyes.
"You are the CEO."
"That isn't enough excuse to act rashly."I replied looking out.
"You haven't had fun since you take over from your dad,you are always busy been the CEO, aren't you bored?"He asked.
"It's a life I should embrace no matter how bored I am."
"Good for you,I'm less concerned about that cause you actually had a great time."
"We are finally here."He exclaimed getting down from the vehicle.
I put on a straight face as soon as I walked into the company receiving different bows and other form of respect from the workers.
My head remained up and my face was straight as I walked to my office only to find my secretary desk empty.
"I thought a new secretary was meant to resume today?"I asked one of the staff who was standing next to me.
"Yes boss."She replied.
"And where is he?"I asked.
"She is yet to arrive."
"Tell him to see me as soon as he comes...."I trailed as I heard a loud footstep behind me making me turn swiftly.
Long and slender legs,wide hips,tiny waist, moderate b**bs and a beautiful face with a brown eye and long brown hair.
"Good morning sir."She greeted standing before me as she tried to catch her breath.
"And who might you be?"I asked with a cold look.
"I guess you are the CEO."
"If you are, then I'm your new secretary,I'm Octavia Wills."She said with a smile charming enough to melt an ice block.
"So,you are the new secretary?"I asked glaring at her.
"I am sir,I'm sorry I'm late,there was traffic on my way here."She said.
"You are fired,I can't employ a late comer like you."I said trying to walk away.
"What?¡!!"
