Upon arriving in the depths of the mountain forest, Chen Yang did some digging.
After almost gathering all the medicinal herbs needed for Wu Kexin's concoction, Chen Yang, with nothing particular to do, sat down to rest under a large tree while his eagle companion stood perched above him on the tree like a watchtower.
It craned its neck left and right, observing everything around it.
"Eagle brother, I haven't eaten lunch yet in the middle of this day. How about catching a couple of rabbits for us to eat?" Chen Yang said, patting his shriveled stomach, speaking to the eagle above.
Chirp.
The golden eagle, hearing the words, didn't hesitate and immediately spread its wings and flew away.
Then, after about ten minutes or so, the eagle returned, clutching two wild rabbits in its beak, back to the base of the tree.
"Wow! You're quite efficient," Chen Yang praised, then picked up the two rabbits and found a nearby stream to skin and clean them.
