Chapter 16 - Chapter 16 Retaliation

The roadblockers were indeed Liu Zhihao's companions, and there were a few more of them, yet Liu Zhihao was nowhere to be seen, making one wonder if he was hiding in a dark spot enjoying the show.

"Mr. Lu, you drive out first and wait for me. The scene might get a bit bloody." Lin Feng took off his suit and handed over the car keys to Lu Yuxin.

Lu Yuxin initially wanted to stay, but seeing the cold look in Lin Feng's eyes, she inexplicably nodded and agreed. In Lin Feng's gaze, she sensed a murderous aura.

The blockers did not stop Lu Yuxin, clearly targeting Lin Feng.

"Kid, you've ruined Brother Hao's plans over and over again. Brother Hao ordered us to cripple your hands, and if there's a next time, your legs will go too! The cameras here are broken, no one can save you!" The leader, a bald man, waved his hand, and the goons rushed forward.

Lin Feng stepped forward and, with lightning speed, grabbed one who dashed fastest, lifted him easily, and swung him around as a weapon. A flurry of crashing sounds followed, and many of his opponents fell.

The remaining men were stunned. What was happening? How did so many fall in one charge? They wouldn't fall this fast even if facing a machine gun.

The bald man shook in fear, turned, and ran—it was terrifying. What kind of demon had Brother Hao provoked? The bald man wailed inwardly.

Lin Feng kicked continuously, sending a baseball bat flying, followed by cries of pain, and the remaining men fell, rolling on the ground and wailing.

"So the cameras are broken, huh." Lin Feng said coldly, stepping down and snapping a thug's arm into an eerie angle. The thug passed out before he could scream.

"You wanted to cripple my hands and feet, huh!" Lin Feng kicked again. Another thug's arm broke.

The bald man watched as Lin Feng, like a demon, stepped closer with each victim he trampled. The bald man scrambled desperately, but Lin Feng's foot came down hard on his hand, crushing the bones with a crack.

The underground parking lot fell silent, terrifyingly quiet.

When Lin Feng walked out of the parking lot, Lu Yuxin was anxiously pacing in front of the car, holding her phone, unsure whether to call the police.

"You're that worried, not willing to check the scene inside?" Seeing Lu Yuxin's concern, the coldness in Lin Feng's heart slightly diminished. Had he been an ordinary person, his hands would have already been crippled.

Seeing Lin Feng unharmed, Lu Yuxin breathed a sigh of relief and managed to say with restrained emotion, "I don't know how to fight. If I went in, I might have held you back, stopping you from escaping."

She was a clear-headed woman indeed, but her next words left Lin Feng speechless, "Why didn't you say they were the ones running?"

"You might know a bit of martial arts, but there were so many of them, and they had clubs…" Lu Yuxin's voice trailed off, growing quieter as she saw blood stains on Lin Feng's newly bought shirt, unable to imagine the scene where it happened.

"It's a shame about the new shirt Mr. Lu bought." Lin Feng didn't care about the bloodstains; he was just sorry about the new shirt.

"If you like it, I'll buy you another one," Lu Yuxin's voice softened considerably, surprised again by the man before her, then she whispered, "My mom just told me to settle my usual work in the next few days and move to my… my villa."

Her voice was almost inaudible by the end, but Lin Feng, who had excellent hearing, heard her clearly: "Am I going to live with Mr. Lu?"

Lu Yuxin's face flushed, both embarrassed and annoyed, "You wish! You'll be in the guest room!"

"I was talking about the guest room. Does Mr. Lu have other ideas?" Lin Feng looked at the female CEO with a teasing smile, her embarrassed appearance making Lin Feng laugh out loud.

"You…" Lu Yuxin almost fainted. Wasn't it a problem if this scoundrel didn't infuriate her several times a day? But thinking about living under the same roof with Lin Feng stirred her heart; while she was quite angry, she seemed not entirely resistant.
