"Put all your worries about the business behind you, dad! Your physical health and emotional well-being should come before anything else. I will go check on the company first thing tomorrow morning." I promised, squeezing his hand gently.
"But I want to know what happened, Kimberly. Who did this? Who set the Moonstone firm on fire?" His voice was soft but firm.
"Okay, dad, once you're out of the hospital, we'll go there together. We'll figure it out." I tried to comfort him, brushing his palm lightly. "Things will get better soon, I promise."
