Mrs Wanton's eyes widened in alarm. "What do you mean it doesn't sound good? What's my husband planning?"
Emma glanced nervously around the room before leaning in closer. "I couldn't hear everything, but it sounded like he's trying to sabotage the Jackson's deal with Ace Cooperation. He mentioned something about 'taking care of Maddie' and 'showing them the true meaning of power'."
Mrs. Wanton's face paled. "That sounds like Solomon's old tricks. He can't just let things go, can he?"
Fred, who had been quietly listening, spoke up. "Mother, I think I know what Father might be planning. I overheard him talking to Harry Jackson earlier. They were discussing something in hushed tones, but I caught a few words. It sounded like they're planning to hack into Ace Cooperation's system and steal their data."
Mrs. Wanton gasped. "That's treason! If they get caught, it'll ruin us all!"
Emma nodded in agreement. "We need to stop them, Mrs. Wanton. But how? because i overheard Mr wantons talking to someone on the phone. He mentioned a meeting at the old Oakwood Hotel, room 314, to finalize the plans for 'Eclipse'."
Mrs. Wanton's eyes widened. "No! someone needs to do something to stop him before he gets himself killed.Ace cooperation is the biggest company and even the top families like us in orange county has to bow to their demands"
Fred's eyes narrowed. "I'll take care of it, Mother. I'll find out what Father's planning."
Meanwhile, at the Oakwood Hotel, Mr. Wanton and Alex sat in room 314, finalizing their plans.
"Alright, Alex, I need you to hack into Ace Cooperation's system and steal their data. Can you do that for me?" Mr. Wanton asked, his eyes gleaming with greed.
Alex smiled, his fingers flying across his laptop keyboard. "Consider it done, Mr. Wanton. But it's going to cost you. I want 30% of the profits."
Mr. Wanton hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Deal. But if you betray me, you'll regret it."
As they finalized their plans, Fred, who had been tracking his father's movements, arrived at the hotel, determined to put a stop to his father's scheme.
Meanwhile Tyler snuck out of his house, trying not to wake anyone up. He had been celebrating his wife Maddie's success all day, but he needed some time to clear his head. He decided to go for a late-night swim at the Oakwood Hotel pool, hoping the exercise would help him relax. Unbeknownst to Tyler, Mr. Solomon Wanton and Alex, the hacker, were also at the Oakwood Hotel, meeting in secret and planning for the downfall of his company.
After his swim, Tyler walked into the Oakwood Hotel bar, wearing a casual t-shirt and shorts. He took a seat at the bar and ordered a drink, feeling refreshed and calm.
As he waited for his drink to arrive, he noticed a familiar face sitting in front of him - Fred, the fiancé of Kate Jackson, Maddie's cousin. Tyler and Fred had a history of tension, especially since Fred had insulted Tyler on his first day as CEO of Ace Cooperation. Tyler had never forgotten the condescending remark, and he had made a mental note to keep a distance from Fred.
Fred was on a phone call, speaking in hushed tones to his friend Ryan. Tyler couldn't help but overhear the conversation as he sat behind Fred.
"...and then Emma told me that my dad is involved in something shady," Fred said, his voice low and serious. "I don't know what it is, but I know it's not good. He's been meeting with some suspicious people, and I think it's connected to the buisness deal between Ace co-operation and the Jackson group"
Tyler's ears perked up as he listened to Fred's conversation. He wondered what Mr. Wanton was involved in, and whether it had anything to do with Maddie's new business deal with Ace Cooperation. Despite their past differences, Tyler found himself curious about what Fred had discovered...
Tyler quickly made a mental note to investigate further and get to the root of the matter. He didn't want to draw attention to himself, so he decided to leave the bar before the waiter arrived with his drink. He got up and swiftly exited the bar, leaving behind his ordered drink.
After Tyler's departure, the waiter who had taken his order arrived with his drink. She looked around, confused, and didn't see Tyler anywhere. She turned to Fred, who was still sitting at the bar, and asked, "Excuse me, sir, did you see the young man who was sitting behind you? He ordered a drink, but it seems he's gone."
Fred, who was still on edge from his phone call, turned to the waiter with a scowl. "Mind your own business, lady," he snapped. "I don't know what you're talking about."
The waiter, taken aback by Fred's rudeness, tried to apologize, but Fred cut her off. "Just forget it," he growled, getting up from his seat. "I'm leaving."
Fred stormed out of the bar, leaving the waiter looking bewildered and embarrassed. The atmosphere in the bar became tense, and the other patrons began to stare. The waiter shook her head and muttered under her breath, "Some people's children...
The next morning, Tyler's household was bustling with activity. Tyler was busy doing the house chores, whistling as he loaded the dishwasher and wiped down the kitchen counters. To his family, he was just Maddie's husband, a lovable but slightly aimless guy who spent most of his time lounging around the house.
Maddie was getting ready for work, typing away on her phone as she sipped her coffee and checked her schedule for the day. She had no idea that her husband was the CEO of Ace Cooperation, or that he had a secret life outside of their home.
In the living room, Mr. Jackson was sitting in his favorite armchair, sipping his coffee and reading the newspaper. He thought Tyler was a nice enough guy, but he often wondered when he would get a real job and start contributing to society.
Mrs. Jackson was still sleeping, enjoying a well-deserved rest after a busy previous day. She never liked Tyler at all like a son, but she too had no idea about his secret identity as a powerful CEO.
As Tyler finished up the chores, he walked into the living room and greeted his father-in-law with a smile. "Good morning, sir! Beautiful day today, isn't it?"
Mr. Jackson looked up from his newspaper and smiled back. "Good morning, Tyler! Yes, it is a lovely day. Thanks for the coffee, by the way. You make it just right"
Tyler smiled accepting the compliment from his father in-law "Thanks dad"
Maddie finished her breakfast, and Tyler offered to drive her to work on his electric bike. As they pulled up to the Jackson Group building, Maddie leaned over and gave Tyler a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for the ride, dear. I'll see you tonight."
Tyler smiled and watched as Maddie walked into the building, feeling proud of his wife's accomplishments. As soon as she was out of sight, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
"Good morning young master, how may I be of help to you today?" Daisy asked him politely.
"Meet me at Harold's immediately, Daisy. We have a situation to discuss" Tyler said, his voice low and serious.
"Yes, Young Master. I'll be right there."
Tyler hung up the phone and started his electric bike, heading towards Harold's, a small, out-of-the-way restaurant that was a favorite among locals. It was the perfect place to have a discreet meeting.
As he drove, Tyler's mind was racing with thoughts of Fred Wanton and the mysterious conversation he overheard at the Oakwood Hotel bar. He had a feeling that something big was about to go down, and he needed Daisy's help to get to the bottom of it.
When he arrived at Harold's, Daisy was already waiting for him, her eyes scanning the area to make sure they were alone. "What's going on, Young Master?" she asked, her voice low and urgent.
Tyler parked his bike and motioned for Daisy to follow him inside. "Let's talk in private," he said, his eyes scanning the area to make sure they weren't being watched.
Tyler and Daisy sat in the corner of Harold's. They had chosen a discreet table, away from prying eyes, where they could discuss sensitive matters without being overheard.
As they waited for their breakfast to arrive, Tyler asked Daisy about the workflow at the company. "Any breaks in the workflow I should know about?" he asked, his eyes scanning the restaurant to make sure they were alone.
Daisy shook her head, her long, dark hair swaying gently. "No, Young Master. Everything seems to be running smoothly. The team is on top of their tasks, and we're meeting our deadlines."
Tyler nodded, taking a sip of his coffee. He was always impressed by Daisy's attention to detail and her ability to manage the team with ease. She was an invaluable asset to the company, and he was lucky to have her by his side.
Next, Tyler asked about the company system. "What about the company system? Any transitions or updates I should be aware of?"
Daisy hesitated, her brow furrowed in concentration. "I'm not sure, Young Master. I'd have to check with the technical crew."
She pulled out her phone and dialed a number, speaking in hushed tones to someone on the other end. Tyler watched her, admiring her professionalism and poise. After a brief conversation, she hung up and turned to Tyler.
"No, Young Master. They said everything is normal. No updates or transitions are scheduled."
Tyler leaned in, his voice low and serious. "I overheard something last night at the Oakwood Hotel. Fred Wanton was talking to someone about Mr. Wanton's shady dealings. He mentioned something about a 'package' being delivered today."
Daisy's eyes widened, her expression concerned. "What kind of package, Young Master?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Tyler shook his head. "I don't know, but I have a feeling it's connected to our company. I want you to dig deeper, find out what's going on."
Daisy nodded, her eyes locked on Tyler's. "I'll get to the bottom of it, Young Master. I'll talk to the technical crew again, and I'll also reach out to some of my contacts to see if they've heard anything."
Tyler nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew he could count on Daisy to handle the situation. She was intelligent, resourceful, and fiercely loyal.
As they finished their breakfast, Tyler couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. He had a feeling that the "package" Fred Wanton mentioned was more than just a simple delivery. He was determined to get to the bottom of it, and he knew that with Daisy's help, he would uncover the truth.
After finishing their breakfast at Harold's, Daisy said, "You don't need to drive your bike, Young Master. We're both heading to Ace Corporation anyway. Just hop in, I'll take you there."
Tyler nodded, still lost in thought. He folded his electric bike into the trunk of Daisy's car and got into the passenger seat. As they drove, Tyler's mind was still racing with thoughts of the mysterious "package" and Fred Wanton's conversation.
Daisy noticed Tyler's mood and tried to make small talk, but Tyler was too distracted to respond. He was trying to piece together the fragments of information he had gathered, but nothing seemed to make sense.
Suddenly, Tyler pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Jenkins, it's Tyler. I need your help," he said, his voice urgent.
Jenkins, the butler to the Wales family, answered on the first ring. "Master Tyler, it's been a while. What can I do for you?"
Tyler took a deep breath. "I need you to come to Orange County, Jenkins. I need your help with something. Make up an excuse to tell Grandfather and get here as soon as possible. It's urgent."
Jenkins didn't hesitate. "I'll be there, Master Tyler. I'll make sure to come up with a suitable excuse to bring me to Orange County."
Tyler nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew he could count on Jenkins to carry out his instructions.
As they arrived at Ace Corporation, Daisy looked at him curiously. "What's going on, Young Master?"
Tyler shook his head. "I'll explain later, Daisy. Just make sure to prepare a secure room for Jenkins. He'll be arriving soon"
Tyler was moody throughout the day, and every attempt by Daisy to bring him out of his funk was unsuccessful. He remained withdrawn and preoccupied until around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, when Jenkins called to inform him that he had arrived at the airport. Tyler instructed Jenkins to come to Ace Corporation immediately.
When Jenkins arrived, he joined Tyler and Daisy in Tyler's office. The three of them sat down, and Tyler began to fill Jenkins in on everything that had happened, from his late-night swim to the suspicious conversation he overheard at the Oakwood Hotel.
Just as they were deep in discussion, Daisy's phone buzzed with an urgent message from the Ace Corporation Technical Department. She looked at the screen and frowned, concern etched on her face. "What is it, Daisy?" Tyler asked, noticing her expression.
"It's the technical department," she replied, her voice serious. "They're reporting a security breach. Our system has been hacked by an unknown source."
Tyler's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with implications. "Let's go to the technical department and get to the bottom of this," he said, already standing up.
Jenkins and Daisy followed him out of the office, determined to uncover the truth behind the hack and put an end to whatever nefarious plans were unfolding.
As they arrived at the technical department, the team was in disarray. The head of the department, Rachel, greeted them with a worried expression. "What's happening?" Tyler asked, his voice firm.
Rachel took a deep breath. "Our system was hacked, not long ago. Someone was trying to retrieve files concerning our business with the Jacksons Group."
Tyler's eyes narrowed. "This is no coincidence. Someone is trying to sabotage us, maybe a big company that didn't get the opportunity to work with us."
Tyler turned to Daisy. "How big is the Wanton Group?"
Daisy hesitated, "To be honest, young master it's the biggest group after the Ace cooperation, we stopped cooperating with them because of Fred Wanton, Solomon's son, who is engaged to Kate Jackson, your wife's cousin, who insulted you on your first day as CEO of this corporation. You decreed that we wouldn't work with the Wanton Group or family because you considered them 'garbage'."
Tyler's jaw clenched. "Find out who hacked us," he demanded.
Rachel shook her head, "I'm sorry, Boss. This hacker is too good. It's above our ability to track them."
Tyler's expression turned grim. "Jenkins, call the best hackers in the US. I want them to take a flight to Orange County and be here before 5 o'clock this evening. If they're not, they'll face the consequences. I want this hacker found and I want to know who's behind this sabotage."
Jenkins nodded, already on his phone, making the call. The race against time had begun.
Later that day the best hacker in the US, known only by her handle "Zero Cool," arrived at Ace Corporation's headquarters in Orange County, Tyler briefed them on the situation. "We've been hacked, and I need you to find out who did it and how they did it. I also want you to implement a solution to prevent this from happening again."
Zero Cool nodded, "I'll need access to your system and all relevant logs. I'll also need to know more about your current security measures."
Tyler gestured to Rachel, who handed Zero Cool a tablet with the necessary information. "We've had issues with social media hacking before, like the Facebook breach last year. I want a solution that will prevent that kind of thing from happening to us."
Zero Cool's eyes scanned the tablet's screen. "I see. Well, first, we need to identify the entry point. Then, we can work on implementing a more robust security system, maybe something like... "
