The inauguration party for Maddie as the new managing director of the Jackson Group was held at the elegant Rosewood Hotel. The cream of society had gathered to witness the historic moment, and the atmosphere was electric.
Daisy Young, Vice Chairman of the Ace Cooperation, stood out in her stunning red gown, representing her boss, Tyler, the mysterious CEO of Ace Cooperation. Her presence commanded attention, and she mingled effortlessly with the other guests.
Marshal Wantons, the newly appointed head of the Wantons family, made a dashing appearance, his charming smile and confident demeanor winning over many admirers.
Maddie's immediate family beamed with pride, their shabby attire a stark contrast to the opulence surrounding them. Tyler's eyes shone with pride as he gazed at his wife, Maddie. Her mother, a simple woman with a heart of gold, kept dabbing her eyes with a handkerchief, while her father, a rough-around-the-edges man, grinned from ear to ear, his chest puffed out with pride.
As the guests took their seats, Old Lady Jackson, Maddie's grandmother and the outgoing managing director, took the stage. But instead of announcing Maddie as her successor, she dropped a bombshell.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you are all welcome to this handing over ceremony of the position of the managing director of the Jackson group. You are all aware of our recent buisness collaboration with the Ace co-operation and we need capable hands in handling this project so I am pleased to announce that my grandson, Harry, will be taking over as the new managing director of the Jackson Group."
The room fell silent, with gasps and murmurs erupting from the audience. Maddie's face fell, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief. Tyler's face turned red with anger, his fists clenched at his sides.
He quickly sent a message to Daisy, who was standing across the room. "Daisy, this is it.Old Lady Jackson has made a huge mistake. Cancel the deal. We're walking away."
Daisy's eyes locked onto Tyler's, her expression grim. She nodded almost imperceptibly and began to make her way out of the room, her phone already in hand.
Daisy quickly typed out a message on her phone, acoss to the Ace co-operation team her fingers flying across the screen. "Deal cancelled. Jackson Group will regret this move."
She then walked towards the podium and spoke into the microphones
"Good evening everyone,As you all know my name is Daisy Young the vice chairman of Ace co-operation.I believe there's no need for any introduction.I just want to make one thing clear.Ace co-operation worked and decided to cooperate with the Jackson group because of Mrs Madison Wales who singlehandedly made this dream come into a reality. Also a news was made by the Jackson group that because of her ability to secure this deal, she would be made the new managing director of the Jackson group, but what did we see here? She was sidelined by her selfish family members who are only care about themselves. This alone has to proved to us and the world in general that the Jackson family are no trustworthy and capable enough to work with not just us but anybody also.So on behalf of my boss who is unavoidablely absent and who got a wind of this incident, we are sad to announce that Ace co-operation would not longer continue with this buisness collaboration with the Jackson group"
This statement made by Daisy Young made everyone in the whole hall began to murmur. The Jackson family were so embarrassed and the looks on their face was not good to look at.But that did not affect Daisy at all and she even went in and to deliver more blows to the Jackson family.
"Also Ace co-operation only recognize Mrs Madison Wales as the project manager or the "project seven star hotel" buisness project and would not collaborate any other member of the Jackson family except her."
Daisy said and turned to make her way back towards the back side where Tyler was, but not before catching the eye of Marshal Wantons, who raised an eyebrow in surprise. The room was still in shock, with whispers and gasps filling the air.
Tyler's eyes never left Old Lady Jackson, his gaze piercing. He knew that this move would have far-reaching consequences, and he was ready to play hardball.
Maddie, still in shock, turned to her husband, her eyes welling up with tears. "Tyler, what just happened?"
Tyler's face softened, and he pulled his wife into a tight hug. "Don't worry, Maddie. We'll get through this. We'll make them regret this move."
As they hugged, Daisy approached them, her phone still in hand she said whispering lowly.
"It's done, Master Tyler. The deal is cancelled. We're walking away."
Tyler nodded, his jaw clenched. "Good. Let's get out of here. We have work to do." He whispered back.
Together, the trio made their way out of the Rosewood Hotel, leaving behind a room full of shocked and confused guests. The night was far from over, and Tyler was just getting started.
Tyler turned to Maddie and her parents.
"I want you all to take a taxi cab back to the house.I kinda have something to handle downtown"
Maddie nodded, still in shock. "Okay, Tyler. But be careful."
Tyler smiled reassuringly. "I will, my love. Don't worry."
Maddie's parents nodded, still looking stunned. "Yes, son. Be careful."
Tyler watched as they hailed a taxi cab and drove away. He then turned to meet Daisy, who was waiting for him in the alley, parked in her luxurious Lexus SUV.
"Get in, Master Tyler," Daisy said, shifting over to the passenger side. "I'll give you directions to the warehouse."
Tyler got in, starting the engine. "What's the situation, Daisy?"
"The warehouse is surrounded by Jenkins and his crew," Daisy replied, her eyes fixed on the road ahead. "Oliver is inside, meeting with his lieutenant. We need to be careful."
"I know," Tyler said, his jaw clenched. "I'm not going to let him get away with this."
"I know you're not, Master Tyler," Daisy said, her voice softening. "But we need to be smart about this. We can't just barge in there without a plan."
"I know," Tyler said, his eyes fixed on the road. "I've been thinking about this all night. We'll get Oliver, and we'll make him pay for what he's done."
The conversation continued, with Daisy giving Tyler directions to the warehouse and Tyler filling her in on his plan. They talked about everything from the layout of the warehouse to the number of men they would be up against.
As they drove, the tension in the car grew thicker, the anticipation building. They both knew what was at stake, and they were determined to come out on top.
After what seemed like hours, they finally arrived at the warehouse, a large, abandoned building on the outskirts of town. Tyler could see Jenkins together with Victor and his crew surrounding the building, their guns drawn.
"Okay, Daisy," Tyler said, his voice low. "This is it. Let's do this."
Daisy nodded, her eyes fixed on the warehouse. "Let's do it, Tyler. Let's take down Oliver and his crew."
Tyler smiled, a fierce glint in his eye. "Let's do it."
Meanwhile inside the abandoned warehouse Oliver, a middle-aged man with a receding hairline and a scruffy beard, paced back and forth in the dimly lit warehouse, his eyes fixed on his trusted lieutenant, Ryder. They were in the middle of a secret meeting, discussing the final details of their plan to take out Marshal Wantons, the new head of the Wantons family.
"I don't like this idea, Boss" Ryder said, his voice laced with concern. "We're taking a big risk by going after Marshal Wantons. He's not a man to be trifled with."
Oliver waved his hand dismissively. "Don't worry, Ryder. I've got everything under control. Fred Wantons is paying us a small fortune to take out his uncle, and I aim to collect it"
Just as Oliver was about to continue, a noise echoed through the warehouse, making both men spin around. It was the sound of someone clapping his or her hands. This made both Oliver and Ryder kind of surprised as they were not expecting any additional person amongst them and they could not help but wonder who this person was.
Tyler, the mysterious CEO of Ace Cooperation, emerged from the shadows, his eyes blazing with intensity.
"Oliver, you're a hard man to find," Tyler said, his voice low and menacing.
Oliver's eyes widened in shock. "How did you...? Who are you? This is impossible!"
Tyler smiled, a cold, calculated smile.
"You'd be surprised what's possible when you have the right resources, Oliver. And right now, I have the right resources and also i have you right where i want you."
Ryder took a step back, his eyes darting between Oliver and Tyler. "What's going on here?"
Oliver's face turned red with rage. "This has nothing to do with you, Ryder. Get out of here, now!"
But Ryder hesitated, unsure of what to do. Tyler's presence seemed to command the room, and Oliver's authority was beginning to slip.
"You're not going anywhere, Ryder," Tyler said, his eyes locked on Oliver's lieutenant. "You're going to stay right here and watch as Oliver gets what's coming to him."
As Tyler's words hung in the air, Victor and his men emerged from the shadows, surrounding Oliver and Ryder. The game was far from over, and Tyler was just getting started.
Oliver's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with calculations. He was the underground emperor, and he wouldn't go down without a fight.
"Who are you?" Oliver growled, his voice low and menacing. "You think you can take me down? I have an empire at my fingertips."
Tyler smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm just a concerned citizen, Oliver. And I'm here to put a stop to your little empire."
Oliver snarled, his hand instinctively reaching for his gun. But Victor's men were too quick, disarming him and pinning him to the ground.
"You're making a big mistake," Oliver spat, his eyes blazing with fury. "I have people who will come for you. You'll never be able to hide."
Tyler leaned forward, his eyes locked on Oliver's. "I'm not hiding, Oliver. I'm just getting started."
With a nod, Victor's men dragged Oliver and Ryder away, leaving Tyler standing alone in the warehouse. But Tyler knew this was far from over. Oliver would not go quietly into the night, and Tyler would have to be prepared for a fight.
The underground emperor would not be easily defeated.
Tyler nodded to Jenkins. "Take Oliver to a discreet location, somewhere he can await questioning tomorrow. And take Ryder with you, put him in a separate room if possible."
Jenkins nodded, his men moving to comply. "Yes, sir. We'll take care of it."
Tyler turned to Victor. "You and your men can head back to your hotel, Jenkins has made arrangements for you. Get some rest, we'll regroup tomorrow."
Victor nodded, his eyes never leaving Tyler's face. "We'll be ready boss"
Daisy stepped forward, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I'll head home too, Master Tyler. This has been quite a night."
Tyler smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yes, it has. Get some rest, Daisy. We'll talk tomorrow."
As the group began to disperse, Tyler turned to Jenkins. "Take me home, Jenkins. I'm done for tonight."
Jenkins nodded, leading Tyler out of the warehouse. The building was left empty, the only sound the echo of footsteps fading into the distance.
Oliver and Ryder were taken to a secure location, separate rooms awaiting them. Victor and his men returned to their hotel, their eyes scanning the surroundings with a mixture of caution and curiosity. Daisy drove home, her mind racing with the events of the night. And Tyler, the mysterious CEO, returned to his home, his eyes fixed on the future.
