Lily's POV
Mom could not believe her ears when I told her I'm leaving soon.
She looked back at me like I had grown horns.
"Are sure that's what you want?" She asked and I could hear the concern and fear in her voice.
"I don't think it makes any sense to keep hiding here. I'm going to meet him and come to a conclusion
And my boss is pissed that I took days off without prior notice." I replied smiling, even though deep down I feel like crying out loud.
"You can always come back if it does work out". She reminded me softly before walking out.
It can't work Mom, there is nothing to work out.
I returned back to my apartment when the sun was waning.
I was suddenly fatigued as I walked into my little apartment.
"I should tell Anna I'm back" I said out loud before calling her.
It rang for a while until she picked the call.
"I'm back, will you come here?" I said into the phone and waited for a response.
