At the hospital, Beverly finds it hard to focus on her work and had gotten reprimanded for different reasons throughout the day until she got called into the office of the chief physician.
She got an earful after he was done and she requested to spend the rest of the week at home as she was not feeling like herself.
Maze was waiting for her outside of the office and an anxious look was on her face when Beverly walked out.
"What did he say?" Maze asked.
"He did not say much and only kept yelling," Beverly replied with a groan.
"What are you going to do now?" Maze asked they both walk back into the room where she changed from her scrub.
"You are going home?"
She asked, alarmed.
"Yes, and I'm taking the rest of the week off. I'm not in the right state of mind to work, Maze. What if I make a mistake that takes someone's life?" She turned and asked Maze who on the other hand was perplexed by her words.
