Wulfric's POV
"You let the new girl see you!" Andrea exclaimed.
I yawned in boredom getting up. "I'm going for a run."
Andrea gasped at my reaction, "You!. Don't you even care?. Werewolves could be exposed! We could be in major danger!. And you can't leave school for a run in the morning."
"Mehh!. We're stronger than humans, we could win the battle. And yes I can do what I want."
"We don't want a battle. We want to live in peace with humans. Sir Frederick made it clear!" Andrea snapped.
"Don't you even care?. You're about to be our lycan king and you're out exposing your wolf, what if more people barge in here and see it!" Kenzie snapped.
"I'm about to be your king and you're yelling at me" I said and Kenzie gulped.
My coronation is today and that's what everyone has been talking about, especially Sir Fredrick, he's been lecturing me as if I don't already know and haven't been preparing for it my entire life, to take my rightful place on the throne, "You're going to be the king now and you must set a good example from the wolves," "You have to treat Nathan with respect, he is your beta and you must work together," "You have to respect the elders in the wolf court even as king," "The packs faith is in your hands." "You have to be strong and brave."
I can do all of those things and more except to be nice to Nathan I do not want my step brother as my beta. Especially weak and soft Nathan, how am I supposed to rule with a ladyman who can't kill a bug. I wonder if he can even throw punches.
There was absolute silence at the theater as neither of the three girls could talk back at me, like always. I averted my gaze from Andrea to Kenzie, and to shaky Sadie waiting for a challenge or a comeback, they just stared at me silently bowing at my feet like they always do. I stretched back in my normal self earning wide glares and gasps from all three girls. My naked body was exposed before their very eyes.
It wasn't the first time they would see me naked because I changed into my wolf anytime I felt like but every time I changed back, it was always the same reaction. Their eyes would widen unable to resist checking me out, they would stare and stare as if I was food they would like to devour. They couldn't pry their eyes off my body.
"My cloths!" I demanded still standing at my spot.
They cleared their throats and Sadie ran around to get me the clothes she could find, a pair of shirt and pants that Andrea always keeps handy Incase I rip off my cloths when changing.
"Are you leaving school again?. Are you going to skip classes again?" Andrea asked as I dressed up and was heading towards the door.
"If that's what it looks like" I was almost at the door when a weak shaky voice of Sadie made me stop.
"I... have something. Something that belongs to Mel It's a strange necklace. It..."
I paused on my track, turning back to face the three girls.
"You stole a necklace from the new girl?" Kenzie said coldly to Sadie.
"I...hm.." Sadie was always stuttering, a quality I hated in wolves, especially amongst my pack members, we have to be strong and fearless. Nathan, Sadie, Lucy and many more, if not that Sir Fredrick ordered me to protect all pack members especially the weak ones I would have expelled them all.
"It just looks so....uh...strange, like...it looks like Wulfric's necklace... and I thought that....uhmmm... maybe Wulfric I mean... Alpha Wulfric would like to see it" Sadie explained with too much stuttering.
"Why would you be daft enough to take something from a human, for goodness sake you could have just snapped it with your phone and showed it to us, what you did was stealing!" Andrea scolded.
"Enough!. Show me the necklace" I commanded.
Sadie awkwardly got down from the stage and walked down to me trembling with fear and shivering like she was on ice. She raised a long necklace with a deep red pendant attached in the shape of the half moon to it, a crescent shape. The necklace really was weird, not in the scenes of being ugly but I had the exact same necklace in silver color, the other half.
"From Mel?. The new girl?."
Sadie nodded. I hide my shock well while dozens of questions troubled my mind. I knew there was something with that Mel girl!. I tried to read her mind when she saw me today but it was hard unlike everyone else.
Why does a human have a Blood moon pack necklace?, the other half of mine. Sir Frederick told me that years ago all the wolves of Prime valley lived together in peace and harmony protected by a moon shaped orb.
Until Ryker, the beta to my grandfather then betrayed the pack making it get divided, taking along those why supported him to form another pack now called Blood moon pack. During the war division a man from the red moon pack broke the orb into 2 and one side remained silver while the other turned red. That is why the other pack are called Blood moon pack. But we are superior to them, the silver orb with us allows us to resist wolfsbane.
I've smelled the new girl, she doesn't have a wolf scent on her, she was definitely human!. Why doesn't a human have the necklace?. Why are her eyes red like Freddy's?. Does this mean the Blood moon pack have no necklace and are vulnerable to attacks?. With this two pieces of necklace together with Prime pack, we can destroy Blood moon pack and Prime pack will rule overall again.
I took the necklace from Sadie and left the theater with the red necklace in my pocket and the silver necklace on my neck. A feeling of excitement flowing through me, the first in many years. Prime pack with take over Prime valley again and rule them all, I will rule them all.
I have to see Sir Fredrick. As soon as I was outside again, I ran into the packing lot, jumped the fense and entered the bushes. I changed back to my wolf and made a wild run for the store taking a forest path so no human would see me.
I got into the store that was closed today because of the coronation and went in through the back, using my finger print to open the door.
I entered the store and went to the far back to a secret room connected to an hidden underground pack house. I pulled a lever to get me in whe.
Sir Frederick wasn't there, the house only had the maids working up and down and doing their duties and getting ready for the coronation. They also work at the store.
