Melissa slowly opened her eyes as the sounds of bird chirping filled her ears. She couldn't even think straight as she buried her face into the warm pillow.
"Enjoying your sleep?"A deep voice said in her ear making her eyes go wide as she looked up. Azrael stared at her with a smile. Melissa was about to move away from him but he wrapped his hands around her waist.
"G-good morning" Melissa said as Azrael kissed her on her forehead, Melissa felt her cheeks heat up as she looked away. Her hand on his bare chest made butterflies flutter in her stomach.
"I wish we could stay like this forever" Azrael said but Melissa pushed him away as she sat up, they shouldn't be getting so close, because if she got use to all this care and love she would fall in love with him and then get heart broken at the end of everything.
