After they made sure Krista was asleep, the two of them went to the bathroom to properly clean themselves after a week of travel.
Veronica especially took a long time, as she couldn't decide which shampoo and soap to use. There were dozens of them, and she spent a few minutes smelling each.
By the time she decided, the bath was already full, and it was scorching hot just how she liked it.
She climbed in with Michael. They cleaned themselves, then fooled around a bit before relaxing for a few hours.
Reluctantly, they left the bath when the water ran out of warmth. Veronica wore a bathrobe, with the initials of the hotel. Michael just put on a pajama pants, which had dark red squares over a black background.
They stayed cuddling near the fireplace in their room. Every room had their own fireplace, which was just ridiculous in Veronica's opinion. She enjoyed the luxury, though.
