Apparently, nothing of that sort happened. Madam Denise came out in a minute. Rose waited outside and the Queen was getting her stuff.
"Come on, Rose. It will take her some time. Sit with me," She said.
Wow, it was the first time Rose saw her be so gentle. Turns out being hurt can really make people treat you with care.

"Do you want some water?"
Rose shook her head.
She noticed that there were Aster flowers today in her vase.
"Wow, nice flowers."
Madam Denise smiled.
"Right, the maintenance staff are wonderful. They change flowers daily."

She thought that the maintenance personnel carefully gave her flowers? Now this was a big misunderstanding.
"You should have thanked them by now."
Rose observed carefully.
"Yes, I leave a note when I leave. Sometimes I get an answer."
