"It's going okay."
He coughed.
Well, why was he lying? Was his work going better than okay? Considering him, it could be the truth. More than okay, Klint's motto.
"It's good."
Then they were quiet.
What? That's it?
No mention of a daughter in exile?
"That, I should leave."
Klint got up.
"No, no, wait. You haven't drank the juice yet. We have this juice we made. It's delicious."
Her mom went and came back with a bottle. The bottle could be nearly ten litres. Was he going to drink that much?
"Here, have a taste!"
And she got a flying tray with a lonely cup filled with juice.
Klint took a sip and nodded.
"It's amazing. Thank you."
He took the bottle and walked out. Then he waved and disappeared.
Rose's call was cut and she ended with more questions than before. But what about her parents? They knew that she was in the human world, right?
