"Eh? Where did all my stuff go?!" Xia Lu was shocked upon returning home.
Her bedroom was completely empty—when she opened the drawers and wardrobe, everything had vanished without a trace, not leaving a single item behind.
"Mrs. Zhang, did you enter my room today?"
"No," Mrs. Zhang shook her head while stirring the soup in the sandpot, "but Mr. Qiu did."
"Mr. Qiu? Which Mr. Qiu?"
"The chauffeur of your husband, Qiu Cheng." Mrs. Zhang's face was filled with resignation; she had anticipated this would happen.
"He entered my room?!" Xia Lu was furious. Zhou Mingchen had let a man enter her bedroom and even cleared it out to get back at her!
"I told your husband you would be upset, but I couldn't stop them."
Xia Lu scratched her head, "Then where did he move my stuff, do you know?"
"Probably to some room on the second floor, I didn't see him bring anything downstairs." Mrs. Zhang explained while turning off the stove.
