Xia Lu stared at the computer screen, her hands flying over the keyboard. Her grades had been very good in university, and she had a few minor awards to her name, yet the work experience section was still blank. She wondered if such a resume would make the cut.
"Ma'am, the master won't be coming home for dinner tonight, so please start your meal," Zhang Ma knocked on Xia Lu's door.
With experience, she finally remembered to lock the door this time.
"Got it, I'll be right there."
She closed her laptop, filled with worry. If she couldn't even get through with an internal recommendation, the regular interview process was even less likely, perhaps she wouldn't even pass the initial resume screening.
If she hadn't been in such a rush to get married and had gone to intern to accumulate some work experience earlier, things would have been better. But what was the use of thinking about it now, did the world have a regret medicine?
