I thought as i feel a sense of familiarity.
A character which i have forgotten entirely, Well... Not entirely tho...
[ "I hope all of you are doing well!" ] Instructor lilac Spoke through the screen giving an expression that gives off a gentle yet mysterious aura.
'Lilac welstone... Known to have a majestic beauty but a mysterious aura wavering in between that gentle expression... Not like i have any details of her in the novel, but what's the point of trying to remember?.. Maybe a secret villain possibly?' I thought as i began to ponder at the screen, seemingly stare at it expressionlessly.
[ "It seems like Golden Grace's instructor hasn't come here yet to the arena... It's just like last year's semester isn't it?" ] Instructor Lilac asked as she tilted her head slightly to the principal, mentioning the instructor of the Golden Grace classroom.
[ "Haha! It seems like it! Oh well, I guess we'll start the arena without him!" ] The principal of the academy spoke as he chuckled lightly.
'The instructor of the Golden Grace isn't here in the arena..? Although i do remember him a bit from the novel, I don't think i have seen hes face around here at the academy...' I thought quietly, Continuing to ponder again.
'Oh well.' I shook my head and shrugged, shrugging away the ponder inside my head.
[ Since the Golden Grace Instructor isn't here, I'll continue onto my other announcement! ] The principal spoke enthusiastically, smiling like an old man, even tho he is old.
[ Do you all remember last year's arena game, right? ]
[ Last year we had 3 games... ]
[ But this time... We'll be playing 5! Shall we start? ] The principal shouted excitedly, Giving the students even more energetic energy and excitement
'5..? What did he mean by 5..?'
I thought as my ahoge resembled a question mark.
Suddenly, The walls inside the waiting room immediately opened slowly after the screen was turned off. It also gave me a frightful startle that made me fall off my chair entirely.
'Ow!'
I mumbled silently.
Suddenly, A thought came into mind.
'Ah... Now i remember.'
'....This Arena..... is just like from last year huh..?'
I thought as i remembered last year's arena game.
The arena was filled with students every last semester of each year, Giving excitement everywhere with eyes filled with passion.
It's not only popular in the academy, but in fact viewed online almost by the entire world.
There would be news and a series of excitement about the arena like some sports game and would always be viewed every time the principal announced about it.
The arena contains at least 3 games chosen by the instructors from the top 3 classes of the academy.
The screen would show at least 10 game recommendations every round, each chosen its own play and its own instructions.
Although this is the third semester, How come i never remembered it..? This is why people call me forgetful.
'But wait...'
'If I'm not with the audience anymore... Then..'
I thought as i widened my eyes by a centimeter, shaking my ahoge slowly and realizing why I'm in the waiting room of this arena in the first place.
'NO... NO..... THIS CAN'T BE...'
[ Let us begin..... ]
[ our first game! ]
The walls began to open entirely, Showing the entire arena that is filled with even more colors and confetti unlike before.
Cheers and noises were heard distinctively and eyes filled with passion and inspiration.
At this moment, I was still on the ground from the impact of the chair, shocked at the realization i have gotten into.
It seems like... i had walked into the lions den... Cluelessly.
Suddenly, I was grabbed by the back of my clothing, making me afloat in the air while getting caught off-guard.
'What the-?'
I immediately felt a familiar yet cold aura, giving me huge hints of the person grabbing my uniform.
"Kw-kwa- Kwan- Alexander... Grace....?"
I stuttered as i took a slight glance, Almost forgetting Kwan Jihu's current name in the novel.
"....Kim.... Johnson." He mumbled in a deep monotone, Giving me goosebumps as my ahoge shook in fear while being expressionless.
It was as if just this morning when i had the most normal day i had, going to class and hanging out with my friends like usual...
'But... WHY DID THINGS GOT SO MUCH WORSE!!!???' I thought as i shivered expressionlessly, Giving myself the fear i had those two months ago.
I didn't even greet him because I was honestly too scared to do so! Well.... Isn't that how normal people would react if they ever encountered this situation? ( Well it Depends on them whether or not. )
Suddenly, Kwan jihu began to drag me out of the waiting room, walking out of the normal door where I first came.
I was confused and puzzled, Not knowing what Kwan Jihu's exact plan that I will be involved in.
'This guy.... What is he going to do to me!?'
I thought as i felt a single drop of sweat dripping, Feeling the nervousness while shaking slightly in fear.
"Hey..! Put me down..!!"
I spoke nervously at kwan jihu.
Kwan jihu Didn't seem to let go of my uniform so easily, And even if i tried the urge to run or grab hes hands to put me down, the only outcome is that he would never let go anyway.
The same outcome would happen even if i tried to use my skill abilities.. Its proof hes showing me something important.. If that's the case.
I also got a hint of embarrassment due to the eyes of students who saw me get dragged by him.... Obviously they gossiped about it.
'Well... he is stronger than me after all.'
I thought as i felt slight envy.
Kwan jihu continued to drag me through the halls inside the arena building, still puzzled on what's going on.
The atmosphere began to feel awkward, Due to the quietness between me and the guy grabbing my uniform.
It was definitely frustrating that i had to deal with this kind of stuff... Just because i know about the novel doesn't mean i could just get forced to disturb it! I'm not like one of those people who support the main character while hiding! Cause for me, I'd rather not disturb the novel ENTIRELY!
Though it's already too late to begin with.
I sighed pathetically, Already getting used to the cold air Kwan Jihu is wavering.
Suddenly, The noises from the principal and the cheering of the students began to feel faint.
Although i didn't notice it, I suddenly felt the quiet atmosphere as i continued to get dragged.

"Umm..."
"Am i gonna get pinned by the wall again..?"
I mumbled in an honestly concerned tone.
"No" Kwan Jihu replied back.
'Oh.'
Awkwardness continued on, It was as if I'm getting dragged with no explanation, Though i WAS getting dragged with no explanation.
Suddenly, We stumbled upon a dark huge room inside the arena, It was weird since it was the first time i stumbled one.
Kwan Jihu, Continued to drag me, Dragging me inside the dark room until suddenly all the lights were turned on.
'...????'
'Now that i think about it... Where am i..?'
I thought as i continued to get dragged.
The dark room was actually a labyrinth filled with different kinds of passageways, The walls looked moldy and old while the ground turned to cement into dirt when we continued to walk.
It's just like one of those labyrinths when a player that is inside an adventure game would explore.
The door from the dark room where we first came wasn't seen anymore, I was getting dragged from behind but I wasn't able to notice the darkness consuming it.
'...'
'Wait, How long have I been getting dragged for...?' I thought as i felt a sense of danger and concern, making my ahoge shake suddenly in worry.
Suddenly, Kwan Jihu took a turn in another passageway, Making me notice the halls getting darker and darker.
"Hey... Where are we going...?" I asked in concern while keeping an expressionless expression.
Kwan jihu stopped for a moment, letting go of my uniform he was grabbing.
"Here." He mumbled as he took a glance to look at me.
I was puzzled and confused, But i already had a bad feeling about what hes going to do.
'Now that i think about it, I've been blank the whole time when kwan jihu dragged me through these passageways.... He didn't even greet me when he first grabbed me by the back of my clothing, No... why bother greeting me after 1 month and a half of no interaction?'

'.....'
'.....Am i going to die by the protagonists HANDS!!???' I thought as i began to panic, Grabbing my hair as my ahoge shook horrendously, while making a straight face.
Suddenly, The torches inside the room began to light up one by one until the room was entirely lit up by the torches.
The room looked like some kind of private arena except that it has no audience and the area was a bit smaller than the huge main arena outside.
'But.... It's more of a place where students can do 1v1 with each other.... Is there a place like this in the novel that i didn't try remembering?' I pondered quietly.
I took my time to look around the room for a while, It didn't take long for me to get an idea why i was here in the first place.
'Hold on...'
I thought as i took a glance at Kwan Jihu.
He was tapping in the air while standing around in the area, It was as if hes going through hes inventory slot through the system.
'Is Kwan jihu..... GOING TO ATTACK ME-!?'
I thought as I panicked at the idea.
Kwan jihu began to touch the air slowly as electric mana swerled around both of hes palms, It was as if hes grabbing something after finishing hes taps through the system.
Suddenly, two bone-like weapons [ Known as the Double Ossein-Blade ] which showed only the rear end grip appeared in the air in which the palm was directed, Grabbing it slowly then taking it out at the speed of light.... It was as if hes preparing those weapons to attack.
I was puzzled at first then panicked.
'Is he actually going to attack me-!!??'
I thought.
Kwan jihu slowly opened hes mouth, and spoke in a deep and cold tone;
"Let's see if you really are trained."
He began to attack, He threw hes blades towards me with full power along with mana swarming inside the weapon.
I was honestly so scared that i dodged it unconsciously.
'HE REALLY IS ATTACKING ME!!!!!'
I thought as i began to panic again.
The weapon began to switch directions, Going straight to Kwan jihu then catching it like it was no problem.
I was in a situation where I didn't even know anything, I also have powers myself but i haven't even used it yet.
"Hey... Lets talk about this!..." I spoke as i moved both of my hands upwards with a sweaty straight face, along with my ahoge shaken in fear.
"Hm." He muttered as he continued to glare at me, Focusing if i improved or not.
I began to ponder quickly, Trying to get ideas on how to get out of this situation.
'THINK, KIM, THINK!!'
Suddenly, A red screen appeared in front of me, Startling me to the point of almost falling.
[ Kim! Use your abilities!!!!! 🙀 ]
The red system replied with an emoji.
'RED-!?'
Kwan jihu began to immediately attack again, sprinting towards me at full speed and preparing hes two Bone-like blades to swing and attack me.
'FFU-'
I began to use a random stance unconsciously, Covering my head with my arms hoping to shuffle myself from the attack.
[ Music Blocker; Activated! ]
Suddenly, A random mana wall appeared in front of me, Bouncing back the attack Kwan Jihu was about to use.
The defense was also quite sudden, Making Kwan Jihu's Blade Bounce away from hes palms.
By the way, I didn't even know how a mana wall randomly existed in front of me, I never even knew this skill existed, But it happened anyway.

I opened my eyes slowly, Trying to glance at the situation I'm in.

'Kwan Jihu... Disappe-'
Suddenly, Kwan Jihu teleported behind me, Using speed that's faster than teleportation itself!
Hes blade immediately touched the right part of my neck, Making me go off-guard while shaking my body slightly in fear, Though keeping a straight face at the same time.
"Tch."
He muttered in disappointment.
He slowly took away the blade from my neck while making an expression of coldness and disappointment, Even hes aura is telling me that I'm not trained enough.
"Red, Blue, didn't you say that Kim lee was training everyday?"
He asked the red system.
[ I did!!! 😟 ]
The Red system replied.
[ Idk lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ]
The blue system replied aswell.
"So.... WHY HAS'NT HE IMPROVED YET? I CAN CLEARLY SEE HES SKINNY BONES THROUGH HES UNIFORM!"
[ Hes probably a slow improver or something lol 😛 ] The red system sarcastically replied.

The blue system replied aswell, Agreeing with the Red system
Kwan jihu sighed deeply in disappointment, As if I will never improve.
I was honestly confused and a bit offended, I know the protagonist a little well, But I didn't expect him to try and use me.
Though i know well for that reason.

The red system replied as it appeared in front of me, startling me again.
[ Kim, Long time no see aswell! ( ╹▽╹ ) ]
The blue system also replied, appearing in front of me beside red at the same time.
'Oh- Hi, I guess.' I thought back to the two systems before they disappeared again.
"Kim...." Kwan jihu mumbled in a cold tone, shrieking me a bit as i heard my name getting called.
I wasn't really entirely used to the protagonist's attitude... But sometimes I'm not afraid of Kwan Jihu's cold temper, unless it's close to the warm part of the thermometer.
"Do you remember what i told you about two months ago behind the academy?" He asked.
I began to ponder for a while, trying to remember what he said those two months ago.
"Hm....Well..."
"I forgot." I replied back.
Kwan jihu sighed lightly;
"So that's why you weren't prepared enough, forgetting the words I told you about two months ago... What an idiot."
"..."
"Wha-"
Suddenly, A huge vague of random sounds from above were heard through the mini arena, sounds that were similar to cheering and voices speaking.
Because of the random noises, there was dust falling off the ceiling, Luckily it wasn't rocks.
"Hold on... Aren't we supposed to be in the main arena?" I asked as i continued to stare at Kwan Jihu.
Kwan jihu sighed lightly as he answered; "Yes."
"But It's fine, The game chosen is probably something dumb anyway, It won't hurt our grades either."
"That's because you're smart." I replied.
"Then you should've studied harder." He replied back in a cold tone.
"So, When are we gonna stay here exactly?" I asked, Tilting my head.
"Until the first game ends." Kwan Jihu answered.
"And until then, We'll have to train your physique."
"What- Why can't we just go to the first game?"
"Trust me, You don't."
"Ehh-?"
- At the first game -
[ "I LIKE YOU SAMANTHA!!!" ]
A random student shouted, Confessing hes love to a girl from the skylock class.
[ OOH!! Seems like "Love confession" finally has a student to confess! ] The instructor of the aurorawhales spoke through the screen, using the principal's mic to speak louder throughout the main arena.
[ Will "Samantha" Accept the boys confession!? What will you have to say "Samantha"!? ] The instructor chuckled and asked.
[ "Sodium Hydride Hypobromite" ]
"Samantha" Responded.
All of the students, (even the instructors) inside the main arena were slightly puzzled, Except those who were smart.
[ "Tell us what that means "Samantha"-!?" ]
[ "NaH BrO." ]
She spoke as she moved both of her arms crossed.
[ "OOOOO!!!! STRAIGHT UP A GENIUS REJECTION!! MAY I ASK WHY? ]
[ "Honestly, I was disappointed... I really thought he was gay." ]
[ "PFFT- Why do you think he was gay-? ]
[ "Hes usually so close to hes guy friend... But even if he is gay, He'll probably still die a virgin." ]
[ "PFFFT- HAHAHA- Alright then! Throw in the pies boys!!! ]
The students began to throw pies at the poor student who confessed, Seemingly felt the dejection and embarrassment inside that poor students heart.
He'll probably never recover again after this incident, Honestly the instructor is so cruel.

I glanced at Kwan Jihu, Imagining the situation from above.
"Honestly, I never wanted to go to that arena in the first place." I spoke expressionlessly.
"Right...." He replied back as he glanced at me with a weird expression.
