As she regained her senses, she found Lucas's slightly pale body and immediately stopped, licking his wounds close.
"You really scared me Avy," Lucas said in a trembling tone, his heart stopped witnessing her fight with the creatures and her gaping wound.
His hands moved towards her stomach, tracing the smooth healed flesh, his heart easing slightly. But he couldn't loosen his tight hold on her.
"I'm fine but feel sick." She heaved, patting his hands quickly, moving to the side and vomited her guts out.
She felt at the rate of her vomiting, some might think she was pregnant, but she can't stop her reactions. Her eyes closed weakly not wanting to be stimulated by the blood on her.
"Take me somewhere to wash off. And don't forget to bring that man along." Avery whispered, her body lax in his embrace.
