Upon passing through the portal, both would see a vast forest and a large field of white and red flowers. But before they could say anything, a voice could be heard, even though no one was nearby.
"Hello, Aspiring Adventurers. Well, you must be wondering why you're here, right? Well, I'll explain. You will take a test to see who will become the new adventurers. The test is quite simple: there are 200 people taking the test, each with their partner, and you will have to kill at least one pair and survive 10 days in this place. Yes, you can pass alone if your partner dies. So, good luck."
"What the hell! I'd prefer something simpler, like killing a few monsters."
"That would definitely be easier than killing monsters."
"Well, let's hunt some monsters and animals, and we'll eat their meat. And by the 5th day, we'll hunt a pair, as I said before."
"Alright, but wouldn't it be good to have a shelter too?"
"Don't state the obvious, it makes you look like an idiot."
They both walked together, searching for a place to spend their days. They looked at the tallest trees to see if a treehouse would be a good option, but abandoned the idea because it would be an easy target for aerial attacks. They continued deeper into the forest. Haru gathered some branches as they walked until they found a small cave that had no monsters or animals. They decided to make that their base.
"It's a great location, and it's well hidden. Seems perfect to me. What do you think, Haru?"
"I'd say we need to check our statuses on the cards."
"What the hell are statuses?"
"Your physical and magical attributes. Just press that button on your card."
Koru took the initiative and pressed the button on the card. The card then turned into a wooden status sheet with Haru's information.

It was clear that Koru was excited to see his status sheet; the most noticeable part was the smile on his face.
Haru only heard the part about opening the status sheet and then pressed the button on the card, turning it into a wooden status sheet.

"Your stats are completely unbalanced. It must fit your personality."
"Was I supposed to be offended by that? Well, forget it. Let's stick to the hunting days. I'll hunt today and tomorrow, you hunt for the next two days, and on the fifth day, we'll hunt a pair, as I said before."
"Alright, while you're hunting, I'll prepare the cave."
After they finished talking, Koru went into the forest to hunt monsters and animals, while Haru set up the cave. Haru's preparations mainly involved making a campfire for cooking the meat Koru would bring. He also gathered some leaves and made makeshift bedding.
"Well, now I just need to find some monsters. I'll climb a tree, so it'll be easier to spot and perform surprise attacks."
Koru climbed a tree and started jumping from tree to tree, searching for any edible living beings. He eventually found a group of green boars with horns that looked like thunderbolts.
"I think I've heard of these monsters. They are Thunder Boars. If I touch their horns, I'd get a 5000-volt shock. Even if it doesn't kill me, it would cause serious damage. Quite dangerous."
"Better find a way to weaken and tire them out."
Koru now aimed to find a way to weaken the boars. After some time jumping through the tree branches, he heard a loud roar. As he approached the source of the noise, he saw a bipedal black tiger devouring a Thunder Boar.
"Do bipedal tigers exist? This thing must be nearly 3 meters tall. It must be a predator of the boars. It would be good to use this thing to tire out the boars. I just need to lead the boars to it."
Koru returned to the spot where the boars were and created a bathtub in mid-air, dropping it to the ground, startling the boars and making them run towards where the black tiger was.
"Yes, nailed it!"
Koru followed the boars and, upon arrival, saw the black tiger running on all fours towards the boars and attacking most of them with its front claws, injuring 10 Thunder Boars. The injuries were quite noticeable, with cuts on the boars' bellies and backs.
"These boars are quite weak compared to the tiger, but I'm not just going to watch."
A large shower was created in the sky above the area, and it began to release hot water. This water, at 100 degrees, caused severe burns to both the boars and the black tiger. This discomforted both and also resulted in most of the injured boars dying due to their severe wounds. Koru took advantage of this and smashed the shower with his bath brush, creating a huge mist in the area. The remaining boars attacked the tiger with their horns, causing a large electrical shock.
"Looks like the boars attacked. I can see the lightning from up here. I wonder if the tiger died."
The tiger did not die, being a natural predator of the boars and thus having high electrical resistance. The tiger attacked during the boars' assault, ending up ripping off the heads of the boars.
"Hey, idiot, take this!"
As Koru finished saying this, he struck the tiger with his bath brush, causing minimal damage to the tiger. It broke. The tiger turned and tried to hit Koru with its right paw, but a bathtub emerged from the ground and hit the tiger's chin, making it stumble slightly backward. Koru seized the opportunity and drove the broken bath brush into the tiger's neck and created a dome of showers pouring 100-degree water on the tiger, while several razor blades cut the tiger's skin. The tiger tried to attack the razor blades but only ended up cutting itself more.
"Try surviving this!"
The tiger eventually died, mainly due to severe blood loss and high burns.
"That wasn't too hard, but I think we have meat for the next two days. I just need to figure out how to carry all these monsters."
