Lily lay in bed, a warm glow suffusing her entire being. Her first experience with Chris had been everything she'd dreamed of and more. She felt cherished, loved, and completely at peace.
As Chris left the room to take a call, Lily decided to freshen up. She grabbed her phone and headed to the bathroom, eager to share her joy with her best friend.
Under the warm spray of the shower, Lily dialed Jude's number, her heart racing with excitement.
"Jude!" she whispered as soon as her friend picked up. "You won't believe what just happened!"
"Spill it, girl!" Jude's voice came through, filled with curiosity.
Lily giggled, feeling like a teenager again. "Chris and I... we... you know," she said, blushing even though no one could see her.
Jude's squeal of delight echoed through the phone. "Oh my god! Finally! How was it? Are you okay?"
