Kenji was currently hidden under a table, the sounds of constant growls and scratching were coming from all around him.
Minutes after he left the group, he had encountered a swarm of zombies, threatening to rip his head off.
He quickly hid under a table in one of the classes and, currently, zombies were constantly hitting it. It was only a matter of time till it broke.
The loud siren bell went off, announcing a change of subject.
The zombies all stopped bothering Kenji and went after the bell.
Kenji ceased for a moment. Sliding out from under the table, he stabbed one of the zombies in the head, before running to continue his journey.

Hundreds of zombies were heading towards his direction, all drawn by the bell, forcing Kenji to run in the opposite direction.
Kenji arrived at the principal's office, making sure to lock the door behind him.
Thankfully, he had been saved by the bell. Now that he was somewhat safe, he could complete his plan.
The principal was nowhere to be found, but his laptop was turned on and so were the security cameras, which all ran on a solar panel.
Monitoring the laptop, he carefully observed the areas where zombies were mostly packed.
There were too many zombies at the football field, cafeteria and music room, some roamed the staircase in search of people to consume, some stayed in the bathroom, but only one was by the gate.
However, the zombie by the gate didn't look like a normal one, it was bigger than the rest, at over 10 feet tall, with huge muscles and greener skin than the rest. On its right was a mountain of corpses, sending warning bells to Kenji's mind.
Kenji decided to review his system. A message came in from his system earlier, but he was too busy to check it out.

Of course, Kenji also knew the difference between a passive and an active skill. He was a hardcore gamer and novel reader, so he knew a lot about how systems worked.
A passive skill didn't need to be activated and was just a part of the user, no need to expend any energy for it to be activated.

Kenji observed his new stats, and it was then he spotted something that completely flew over his head before.
The rankings? If what he was seeing was correct, then the whole world was in shambles.
How could the population in Japan be 980? What exactly did that asteroid do to the Earth to reduce its numbers so drastically?
The number of people in Asia right now is only a mere 900,000 and in the entire world it was just 999,000
More than 7 billion people have died from the asteroid impact. This whole thing was chaotic for Kenji.
But what could he do? His plan was just to avoid joining the 7 Billion.
Spying on the group he had broken off from, they were currently in a battle with a few zombies and had locked themselves in the library.
Kaito was swinging his bat wildly, bashing at the heads of zombies with a single swing, a true testament to his strength.
Kenji tapped the microphone in the principal's office, giving him feedback.
Kenji smiled, turning off all the speakers except one, the speaker in the main hall.
"Attention Zombies, this is Kenji Haruta speaking. I would just like to respectfully say, I stuck it to your mother, if she isn't a zombie like you and that to all humans hearing me, make your way to the library, you weakling". Kenji said, drawing the attention of most zombies.
Kenji began blasting loud anime music from the principal's computer into the microphone, to continue drawing the attention of zombies.
With that, Kenji ran out of the principal's office, that zombie that he had seen at the gate. He couldn't fight it alone, so he would need the rest of the group to stand a chance against it.
On his way to the library, he met a pair of lone zombies hanging by the staircase. There were only three, so Kenji decided to test his skills on them.

Kenji stood still, waiting for the zombies to rush in. They were fast and strong, but they were dumb and had terrible vitality.
The first zombie leaped into the air, already meeting Kenji's sword which stabbed through its heart, but still the zombie wasn't dead.
Kenji pulled out his sword from its chest, slicing its head off its body.
The next two zombies meet a similar fate at the hands of Haruta Kenji and his sudden master of swordsmanship.
