Other humans who heard Kenji's voice and were either part of another group or on their own had managed to run towards the library.
Kenji barged into the library with an air of confidence around him, with each passing second he began to feel more and more powerful.
"Let us go." Kenji said, opening the door of the library and making a break for it.
Those who were previously members of his group, knew quite well that Kenji would abandon them if they weren't willing to follow him and he had saved them more than once, so they all followed him.
The group was moving as fast as they could, some with different types of weapons on their hands, some were carrying others who had fainted or had broken a bone or two.
Kenji slashed off the head of one of the zombies who ran his way effortlessly.
Kaito and the rest were taking care of the other zombies who were attacking the group but unfortunately not everyone could make it, those who were bitten were killed before they would turn.
Finally, Kenji had gotten to the gate and there he saw it, the zombie that looked far different from the rest.

Kenji stared at the quest before him, he couldn't miss out on these stats and he definitely couldn't run ,so he had to fight.
The zombie stared at them with a smile and immediately began charging towards the group.
Kenji unsheathed his blade, fully ready to take down this thing.

Kenji could see ash colored outlines of the next three moves the beast was going to make and red dots to show the weak points of the zombie.
One of the people in the group pulled down his hood, his short black hair flailing in the air.
"Zack what are you doing, you don't even have a weapon." one of the girls at the back said.
"Well, I received a rather strange gift last night." the boy said, blue sparks of lightning began gathering around the tip of his fingers.
Kenji was already off so he failed to notice the strange pheomenon happening behind him.
Kenji leaped in the air, aiming to cut off the head of the zombie in one fell swoop.
However Kenji had noticed it too late, he could see the next three moves of the beast and knew he was royally fucked.
"Ah shit." The fist of the beast collided with Kenji, sending him flying and into the floor.

'Ahh damn, just one punch and half of my health points are gone, if I take another hit I'm gone.' Kenji said to himself getting up from the ground.
*BOOM*, The sound of thunder going off pierced the ringing ears of Kenji, forcing him to turn his head towards the source of the attack.
A young black haired boy with short black hair, dressed in their school's black hoodie with lightning dancing around his fingers.
Kenji ran towards the boy, this zombie was way out of his league so maybe there was someone he could hide behind?

'A full on lightning attack.and it only took away two health points?' Kenji asked himself in anger.
However the boy did such a thing he didn't care, all he cared about was surviving this ordeal.
"Kenji, you are hurt." one of the girls said running towards Kenji, it wasn't like she cared or anything, but her primal instinct drove her towards Kenji.
Kenji was a male and with all he had done recently, he had proven that he was capable of providing security for her in this entire ordeal, so she saw him as a great investment to make.
Kenji ignored the girl, focusing on the zombie ahead of him, which was now running at high speed.
"No, go back inside the building all of you." Zack shouted but Kaito and Kenji ignored his orders.
The girl herself was forced to obey Zack's orders, the beast was already a few meters away from them so she ran back quickly.
Kaito, Kenji and Zack all charged towards the beast at the same time, Kaito swung his bat at the zombie which shattered upon impact with the zombie who didn't even flinch.
Zack rubbed his palms together once more, sending a blast of lightning at the zombie forcing it to scream in pain.
Kenji with his vantage sight could see the knees of the zombie glowing red, so he quickly began targeting them.
Kaito abandoned his bat and began using his fists, which was theoretically a crazy idea but surprisingly it worked better.
Each punch from Kaito sounded like an explosion on it's own and the zombie itself would feel the weight behind the hits.
With two punches Kaito chipeed away one HP while Zack continued to fire lightning from his palms.
Kenji slid under the legs of the zombie, kicking it's knee violently from behind, forcing it on its knees.
Kenji stabbed his sword into the back of the zombie forcing it to growl in pain, but Kenji didn't stop there he continued to slash at the zombie.
Kaito leaped into the air and with all his strength landed an uppercut on the zombie, forcing it's mouth closed.
The rest of the people continued to watch in awe as these three monsters fought for their lives.
Kenji slid under the legs of the beast once more, leaping off from the floor, he was going for the final kill, and history decided to be a bitch by repeating itself.
But this time Kenji held his Katana unwaveringly, he stabbed into the fist of the zombie, but the zombie didn't even bat an eyelid, it simply flung him off along with his sword.

The system warned and red lights began flashing in his eyes.
"One of you come carry him." Zack shouted , standing before Kenji's body to protect it.
The girl from earlier rushed into the battlefield, picked up Kenji's body and began running back.
But despite the blood pouring out from Kenji's wounds he wasn't screaming, no he didn't dare make a sound, something else had taken over his mind.
