Princess Alessia couldn't help but feel a mixture of fear and curiosity as she looked up at Kanji, a supernatural being with a reputation for ruthlessness. She couldn't fathom why such a figure would want to speak with her. Her mind was filled with questions and trepidation as she tried to gauge his intentions.
Despite her fear and uncertainty, Princess Alessia knew that Kanji was a being of considerable power. As a Beyonder Ranker - a rank that transcended even the gods - he held an unparalleled level of strength and influence. She swallowed her trepidation and prepared herself to converse with this formidable creature.
"What do you want to talk about?" she asked, her voice betraying a hint of uncertainty as she looked up at him. She couldn't help but wonder what could possibly bring such a powerful being to seek her out for conversation.
"Are you a Descendant of Altaria?" Kanji inquired, his eyes fixed on Princess Alessia, studying her intently. The question seemed to carry a weight of importance, his interest piqued by the possibility of her connection to the legendary Altaria.
Princess Alessia's eyes widened at the unexpected question, surprised that Kanji would ask about her lineage. "I am," she replied, her voice steady despite her racing thoughts. "How do you know about the Descendants of Altaria?"
Kanji's expression was stoic as ever, but there was a determination in his eyes as he spoke. "We need to talk in private," he stated, his tone firm and unwavering. He seemed to have some important matter to discuss, one that required the intimacy of a secluded conversation.
Princess Alessia felt a mixture of surprise and curiosity at his request. Though she was wary of Kanji's intentions, she also sensed that he had something significant on his mind. She nodded, acknowledging his wish. "Very well," she acquiesced. "We can speak in private."
After the great battle, when the dust had settled and the undead hordes had been vanquished, a sense of relief and happiness washed over the land. The soldiers, adventurers, and civilians returned to their homes with a newfound appreciation for life and peace.
The once devastated fields and villages began to rebuild, a testament to their resilience and determination. Though the memories of the war would not soon be forgotten, the people looked to the future with hope and optimism.
Sarah and Kenta found themselves once again at the Adventurers' Guild, surrounded by weary but triumphant adventurers who were basking in the glow of victory. The hall was filled with the sounds of laughter, chatter, and celebration.
Sarah and Kenta, exhausted from the battle, sat together at a table, sharing drinks and war stories with their fellow adventurers.
In a secluded room of the castle, Princess Alessia and Kanji sat facing each other, the atmosphere thick with tension. The air was laden with an undercurrent of unease as they were alone, their conversation to be kept between them.
Kanji looked at her intently, his gaze unwavering. "Tell me about your lineage," he said, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "How long has your family been descendants of Altaria?"
Princess Alessia, though taken aback by the sudden question about her lineage, composed herself and spoke. "My family has been Descendants of Altaria for generations," she replied. "Our heritage goes back centuries, with tales and legends passed down from ancestor to ancestor."
Princess Alessia pondered for a moment, mulling over the question. "Our lineage can be traced back over a thousand years," she answered, her voice carrying a hint of awe. "There are stories and legends of our ancestors who wielded great power, dating back to the ancient times."
There was a brief flicker of what seemed like surprise in Kanji's eyes as he muttered to himself. "I must be over 2000 years old now," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. The casual comment, spoken so matter-of-factly, hinted at the profound age and wisdom he must possess.
Kanji's tone was reverent as he spoke to Princess Alessia about Altaria. "Altaria was not just a legendary fairy," he said. "She was an Empress of the Fairies, a divine being of unparalleled power and wisdom." He paused, his gaze locked with hers. "Her reign was marked by an era of peace and prosperity, and her descendants are said to carry a fraction of her power within them."
Kanji's voice turned darker as he revealed the purpose behind his presence. "I have a personal grudge against Altaria," he confessed, his eyes narrowing. "But fate has led me to you, Princess Alessia. I have come to aid you in protecting your descent, for the time of danger is upon us."
Kanji leaned back, his gaze intense as he added another piece of information. "There is something else you should know," he said. "Your family, the Descendants of Altaria, have the ability to call upon gods and goddesses. This power, though rare, is deeply tied to your lineage."
Kanji's expression remained stoic as he continued, his words revealing his true intentions. "I have helped you today not merely out of kindness," he stated, his voice almost devoid of emotion. "I have a use for you, Princess Alessia. I require your help in a matter of great importance."
Princess Alessia, caught off guard by his revelation, felt a pang of worry as she asked, "What is this matter that you need my help with?"
Kanji's voice was steady as he revealed his objective. "There is a goddess I wish to meet," he said, his eyes fixed on Princess Alessia. "The Goddess of Constellation Vega. I need you to help me reach her."
Princess Alessia's eyes widened in surprise at his request. The Goddess of Constellation Vega was revered and powerful, and the notion of meeting her was daunting to say the least. "How am I supposed to do that?" she asked, her voice laced with uncertainty.
Princess Alessia's eyes widened further in realization. She usually bestowed God's blessings upon those who sought them, a common act among the Descendants of Altaria. "You want me to call upon the Goddess of Constellation Vega, just as I would for any other god or goddess for blessings?" she repeated, her voice filled with a mix of hesitance and acceptance.
Kanji nodded in affirmation, his eyes unwavering. "Yes," he replied. "Do it just as you would for any other god or goddess for blessings. Call upon the Goddess of Constellation Vega, and use your power as a Descendant of Altaria. I will be by your side to assist you, I know you've some doubt like how you will call her, Just add my name and say her I called her in middle of your prayers"
Princess Alessia, though still uncertain and weary, felt a sense of determination. She nodded slowly, her eyes meeting Kanji's. "I will do it," she said, her voice firm. "I will call upon the Goddess of Constellation Vega, and mention that you called her. But I still have doubts; the Goddess of Constellation Vega... She is a being of great power. What do you need her for?"
Kanji's tone grew serious as he advised her. "It's better if you don't know too much," he stated, his eyes locking with hers. "The less you know, the safer you'll be. The matters of gods and goddesses can be perilous, and involvement often brings danger. Just trust that what I need from the Goddess of Constellation Vega is necessary for a greater purpose."
Princess Alessia felt a shiver run down her spine at his ominous warning. Yet, she understood the wisdom in his words. She had trusted him thus far, and the weight of his request was not lost on her. "Very well," she replied, her voice softer. "I will call upon the Goddess of Constellation Vega without knowing the details. Your intentions may be shrouded in mystery, but I will trust in your judgment and assist you."
Princess Alessia knelt in the grand Royal Church, her figure small and reverent before the imposing statue of the Goddess of Constellation Vega. The air was thick with the scent of incense, and the dim light from flickering candles cast shadows on the stone walls. She closed her eyes, mentally preparing herself to call upon the divine entity.
In her silent prayers, Princess Alessia could faintly hear the echo of a voice. It was soft yet powerful, a voice that seemed to come from beyond the physical realm. "Who dares to call upon me?"the voice inquired, a sense of divinity emanating from each word.
Princess Alessia, following Kanji's instructions, added with a hint of trepidation, "It is the one named Kanji who has called upon you, Great Goddess of Constellation Vega."
In a sudden burst of anger, the Goddess of Constellation Vega materialized through a gleaming portal, descending upon the church like a storm. Without a moment's hesitation, she seized Kanji by the collar, her fingers gripping him tightly. Rage burned in her eyes, her divine countenance contorting with fury.
"You dare to summon me, mortal?" the goddess thundered, her voice shaking the very foundations of the church. The air around her crackled with an otherworldly energy as she held Kanji with unyielding strength.
Despite the fury of the goddess, Kanji's expression didn't waver. The mention of his seemingly mortal status seemed meaningless to him, for he had faced and survived encounters with gods and celestial beings in the past. Unyielding in the face of Vega's anger, And defeated half of 500 Gods and survived who try to sealed him away, killed trillions of Angels, and 80 billion Demons.
It was indeed understandable for Vega to be seething with anger, as she had been summoned by a mortal who had somehow managed to fight gods, survive encounters with celestial beings, and kill an astronomical number of angels and demons. The audacity and the implications of such feats were enough to awaken a burning fury within the goddess.
Kanji, seemingly unfazed by the goddess's fury, responded to her with a nonchalant tone. "Indeed, it was I who summoned you," he stated, his eyes meeting hers without fear. "I had a purpose in calling upon you, Great Goddess of Constellation Vega."
Vega, still gripping him tightly, her rage palpable, bellowed, "And what purpose could you, a mere mortal, have to justify summoning a goddess?" Her face was contorted with fury.
Kanji, undeterred by her anger, continued speaking calmly, his voice steady. "I seek your understanding and assistance," he said, his gaze unwavering. "There is an important matter I must discuss with you, one that concerns the grand scheme of things and has implications far beyond our individual beings."
Vega's grip on his collar loosened slightly as she furrowed her brow, her divine aura still crackling with anger. "You speak of grand schemes and importance?" she responded, her voice tinged with skepticism. "A mere mortal like you dares to believe that my time and attention are worth devoting to your matters?"
As Kanji uttered the word "Khazad" with conviction, an eerie silence fell upon the room. Vega's expression shifted from fury to a mix of surprise and unease. The mention of such a name seemed to carry a weight and significance that even the goddess could not ignore.
The name "Khazad" echoed through the hall, and its mention stirred a long-forgotten history. It was the name of the Demon God, a being responsible for the cataclysmic event known as the Celestial War. A war that had shaken the very foundations of existence some 2 million years ago. The goddess Vega's eyes widened at the mention, her grip on Kanji's collar loosening further.
The Celestial War was a time of great strife and sacrifice. All the gods, even those of the Naein's, had to put aside their differences and unite to take down the Demon God. A conflict so treacherous and destructive that it had pushed both gods and mortals to their limits. The memory of that devastating war still loomed, a testament to the power and malevolence of Khazad.
His words continued to flow, carrying the weight of history and sacrifice. "To even hope of sealing him, we had to unite as one, fighting together. Even the Great Goddess of Beginning and Ending, Sophia, had to make a great sacrifice in the end."
The mention of the Great Goddess of Beginning and Ending, Sophia, brought a hint of melancholy to the room.
Kanji's gaze remained steady as he spoke, his tone firm. "Let us speak in your realm,....Vega" he said, the request clear. "Privately, without the listening ears of others."
Meanwhile in Town side
Sarah and Kenta trained fiercely, their determination to grow stronger evident in every movement. They had witnessed firsthand the terrifying power of the billions of S ranking Undeads in the recent war, and it had become clear that they needed to push themselves to the limits if they were to stand a chance against such formidable adversaries.
Alessia stood before her castle window when she sensed a gentle breeze blowing lazily through the air. She looked out at the vast, beautiful landscape before her, her heart heavy with worry for what the future might bring.
