Chapter 13 - Chapter 3: Tournament of Coliseum in Gelber town

As suddenly a poster came through the wind to them "Tournament of Collosuem at Gelber town"

Sarah and Kenta both looked at each other as the sudden appearance of the flyer interrupted their conversation.

"What's this?" Sarah asked, picking up the flyer to read it.

Kenta also glanced at the flyer, curious about its contents

"Looks like a tournament at Gelber town" he said, scratching his chin. "That's not too far from here"

Sarah looked at the flyer intently, contemplating the possibilities

"Tournament, huh? I wonder what it's for" she said, her mind already starting to think about the potential rewards and challenges that such an event could hold.

Kenta shrugged, indifferent to the idea

"Who knows... but it could be a good opportunity to get some loot or even some information" he said, his mind immediately jumping to the practical possibilities.

Sarah, on the other hand, was more excited by the idea

"It could be a great chance to test out our powers and skills. And maybe even earn something valuable" she said, her competitive side starting to flare up

Kenta chuckled at her eagerness

"You always have been a bit of a thrill-seeker, haven't you?" he said, not trying to hide his amusement

Sarah rolled her eyes at his comment

"And you've always been too much of a pragmatist" she retorted, feigning annoyance

As Sarah and Kenta walked, the flyer in Sarah's hand fluttered in the wind, a reminder of the upcoming tournament.

"So, are you going to sign up for the tournament?" Sarah asked, looking at Kenta curiously.

Kenta looked at her, his expression one of nonchalance

"I don't know...it's a bit of a hassle" he said, his tone is casual "Besides, these kinds of events never offer anything worth the trouble"

Sarah smirked at his response

"Come on, where's your sense of adventure?" she teased, knowing full well that he enjoyed taking up challenges.

Kenta rolled his eyes, pretending to be annoyed

"You and your "sense of adventure"..." he grumbled "You'll get yourself into trouble one of these days, mark my words"

Sarah laughed, enjoying their banter

"Oh, don't be such a spoilsport! You're always so serious" she said, nudging him playfully "Think about it... the tournament could be a lot of fun"

Sarah and Kenta eventually arrived at the tournament at Gelber town. The atmosphere was one of excitement and anticipation, as many people had gathered to watch.

Sarah's gaze wandered over the bustling crowd, taking it all in. Her heart began to race with anticipation, the competitive spirit within her bubbling to the surface.

Kenta, on the other hand, seemed more reserved, his expression betraying no excitement or impatience. He was as calm and collected as ever, standing tall and scanning the area with his usual stoic gaze.

Without looking at Sarah, he spoke up

Sarah turned to him with a smirk

"Of course I am! I can't wait to show off my skills and win some cool prizes" she said, her eyes sparkling with anticipation

Kenta chuckled, knowing her too well

"And there it is, that competitive streak" he said, shaking his head "You'll probably end up biting off more than you can chew"

Sarah crossed her arms and gave him a mock glare

"Oh, shut up. You're just jealous cause you don't have the guts to enter" she said, poking him on the arm

Kenta raised an eyebrow at her accusation

"Jealous? Hardly. I just don't see the appeal of throwing myself into a chaotic arena and getting beat up" he retorted, his voice dripping with sarcasm

Sarah laughed at his response

"Oh, come on. Where's the thrill in that?" she asked, still poking him in a friendly manner. "Besides, I know you secretly crave the adrenaline rush of a good fight"

As they made their way to the registration area, Sarah and Kenta noticed that the area was filled with people eager to sign up for the tournament.

Sarah was practically vibrating with energy, her eyes flickering from person to person, taking in every detail. Kenta, on the other hand, just looked bored.

As they arrived at the registration desk, Kenta's gaze wandered towards the reward board displaying the prizes for the winners.

His expression remained stoic as he took in the details of the rewards, but a small spark of interest did light in his eyes.

Rewards:

1: if you impress Pricness Alessia you'll get blessings of God's by King and Queen at royal hall.

2: 100,000 gold's coin

3: 10,000 silver's

Sarah, who had also been looking at the board, let out a low whistle

"That's some sweet loot" she said, eyeing the rewards with a greedy glint in her eye

Kenta nodded, his interest piqued by the monetary rewards

"100,000 gold coins is not a small sum" he said, quietly calculating the value in his head

Sarah, however, was more interested in the first reward

"What do you think it means by 'impressing the princess Alessia'?" she asked, a mischievous grin on her face

Kenta shrugged nonchalantly

"Beats me. Probably some sort of test or trial to prove your worth" he said, not particularly interested in the specifics
