At the moment, the women had both excuses themselves from the table. Seeing this, I decided to take the opportunity to bring up that conversation. Honestly, with this being such a joyful occasion, I didn't want to ruin it, but it had to be done.
I was still restless since Raven's safety was a priority and it was for good reason.
I turned to Jim. "How far? "
His playful stance turned serious. He took out his phone, and after scrolling for a couple of seconds, he faced me once again. "Still nothing and it's beginning to really frustrate the hell out of me. "
I could already feel my stress levels begin to spike up once again. It had been two weeks, almost three, and still nothing had happened. After reviewing that video footage, Jim had placed some of his trusted men to monitor Griselda's apartment.
