After the doctor made sure my foot injury was nothing but a bad sprain, he packed up his things and left. At the moment, I lay on the bed, with my foot slightly raised on a bunch of blankets that had been piled together.

After that car had nearly swerved into us, Ethan had grabbed ahold of me, getting me and himself out of danger's way. In the process, I twisted my foot which had resulted into all this. Once the adrenaline had washed off, that's when I had noticed the throbbing pain.
