Grayson Mansion
When they arrived, Thane went ahead of Brooke into the mansion and headed straight to his room. Brooke was wheeled to her bedroom in complete silence.
She had a bath and rejected any food, claiming she wanted to be left alone.
But in reality she was afraid. Afraid to face anyone in the mansion after being publicly humiliated.
She quickly wiped her tears away when she heard Hannah knock on the door.
"Miss Brooke I brought you some food." Hannah announced at the door.
Brooke cleared her throat, "Um, I'm not really hungry-"
"Master Grayson asked me to bring it, do I tell him you still won't eat anything?" Hannah's gentle tone sounded threatening.
"Alright, you can come in." She replied sharply, not wanting to bother Thane anymore than she had.
Hannah came inside and could immediately tell that Brooke had been crying. She set the plate of sandwiches next to her bed, and handed her the juice.
