"Why the hell do you think we would let you take her to Amara?" Hayley asked.
"She's the only one who is strong enough to help," Sarah said.
"Help?" Hayley scoffed. "You know very well she's going to want to take the baby out of Ali."
Hayley snapped her head to Tristan. "Why the hell did you even let Amara link herself with Ali?"
"Hayley," Tristan said, taking a step forward. "Amara would not try to hurt Ali as long as they're both linked. I think we should take her there."
I groaned in pain, clamping my head as their voices grew louder. I was so irritated hearing them. I wanted it to stop. I wanted to end the pain.
"Enough!" I shouted, rising from the bed. My legs weakened, giving out on me, and I fell back onto the bed.
Sarah closed the distance between us, fetching a blood bag from her bag. "Here, drink this. It will help slow down the fever."
