Chapter 62
Tristan
I paced back and forth in my room, hands clenching into fists. I felt Aaliyah in danger last night, and when I ran into the woods to find her, she was gone. There was no trace of her. Her scent wasn't in the air. It was as if she hadn't been there at all.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my hand. I glanced at the screen and frowned at the unfamiliar number. Now wasn't the time for this, and I ended the call. But when the number called again, I hesitated before answering.
"Tristan," came a rough voice from the other end. "I've been waiting so long for this."
I gritted my teeth. "Who the hell are you?"
