Nick had told Lisa that she did not have to worry about anything, but that reassurance was not enough to quell Lisa's doubts.
She felt restless the whole way back home.
Emma volunteered to take Lisa home since Nick had to handle this situation. The older female had not spoken up since she saw her down beside Lisa in the car, but Lisa was hyper-aware of her presence beside her.
"Hey! You don't have to worry about anything. Nick might act like an idiot at times, but he's good at taking care of messy situations. He's done it more than enough times to know what he is doing."
Emma assured Lisa as she continued to drive.
