As I surveyed the scene, I saw that my disciples were all injured, some critically. But I wouldn't let them die like this. That's why I had purchased High-Grade Healing Pills for them. Hehehe...
"Enough of this!" I declared, my voice ringing out across the clearing. "I know this isn't training, but standing in front of the door of death. Are you going to die like this?"
My gaze fell upon a disciple who was heavily injured, on the brink of death. I walked towards him, and he looked up at me with desperation in his eyes.
"Elder Fang Lin, please... help me," he begged.
I smiled, a plan forming in my mind. "Of course, my dear. I have just the thing."
I pulled out a small, tennis ball-like pill with eyes and teeth embedded in it. The pill had a pungent smell, but I knew it was effective. The disciple looked disgusted at first, but he swallowed the pill whole.
At first, nothing seemed to happen. But then, the pill began to glow, focusing its energy on the disciple's injured areas. It was as if time itself was reversing, speeding up the healing process.
The other disciples, including Zhao Min, Wu Tei, Ling Xiao, and Jang Ran, began to stir, drawn by the sight of their fellow disciple's miraculous recovery. They approached me, eyes wide with admiration, except for Zhao Min, who had a hint of suspicion in her gaze.
"Elder Fang Lin, how did you...?" she started to ask, but I waved my hand dismissively.
"It's okay, Disciple Zhao Min. Just take the pill."
One by one, they swallowed the High-Grade Healing Pills, and their injuries began to heal at an incredible rate. Kane, who had been watching from the sidelines, couldn't contain his excitement. He laughed maniacally, his face split with a wide, happy grin.
"Ahahahaha! They've all exceeded their limits! This is perfect!" he exclaimed, clearly thrilled with the outcome.
As we returned to the sect, I couldn't help but think, "Hehehe, too bad no one died." I walked alongside my disciples, who were still in shock from the events that had transpired.
When we arrived at the dining hall, the disciples were amazed by the feast before them - chicken, beef, and pork, a luxury they had never known. They had grown accustomed to eating only rice every day.
I took the stage, surveying the room with a proud gaze. "Today, we achieved what those small sects in the Southern Region have not. But I won't be satisfied with this achievement. We must strive for more."
With that, I departed the stage, leaving my disciples in a state of surprise. But they didn't mind; they were too busy enjoying their meal.
Zhao Min leaned over to Ling Xiao and whispered, "Isn't Elder Fang Lin acting a bit strange today?"
Jang Ran, who was savoring his chicken, suddenly chimed in, "Really? I thought he was alright."
Zhao Min shot him a look. "Shut up, Fatty."
Meanwhile, Kane was struggling to contain his excitement. "This is incredible... cough, cough... my body can't handle the power of the Demon King's Blood System! 89% integration... after 100%, the system can't suppress the blood completely... damn, what should I do?"
As the disciples finished their meal, Zhao Min quickly excused herself to find Kane. But when she saw him coughing up blood, she was taken aback. The Elder Fang Lin she knew, who always exuded confidence and dominance, was now struggling to maintain his composure.
For a moment, she considered approaching him, offering her help. But then she thought better of it. "Why should I help him?" she thought, and left.
Kane, however, sensed her presence. "That woman... her lifespan won't be long," he thought to himself.
