Chapter 6 :Life Crystal
As the tournament progressed, the battles grew more intense. Drian watched with interest, analyzing each competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
Meanwhile, Kane faced off against Vex, the Demon with eyes that could petrify his foes. Kane's madness-fueled powers proved a perfect counter to Vex's gaze, and he emerged victorious.
The next match saw Gorthok face off against Jax. The two bruisers exchanged crushing blows, their strength and endurance on full display. In the end, Gorthok's warhammer proved too much for Jax, and he emerged victorious.
The winners of the tournament so far were:
- Drian (Rank 2 Demon)
- Kane (Rank 1 Demon)
- Gorthok (Rank 1 Demon)
As the tournament continued, the battles grew more intense. In the end, only two participants remained on the leaderboard
- Drian (Rank 2 Demon)
- Kane (Rank 1 Demon)
The day of the final match arrived, and the Denatric family's estate was shrouded in a dark, rainy atmosphere. Kane stood outside the battlefield, his eyes fixed on the entrance. Lyra approached him, her expression concerned.
"Kane, are you sure you're ready for this?" Lyra asked, her voice soft. "Drian is a formidable opponent."
Kane grinned, his eyes gleaming with madness. "Ah, Lyra, you worry too much. I'm the king of chaos, the lord of lunacy! No one can take me down!"
Lyra's expression turned stern. "This isn't a joke, Kane. Drian is a powerful Demon. You need to be careful."
Kane chuckled, his laughter echoing through the hallway. "Careful? Ha! I'm the one who's going to destroy him. And when I do, you'll see the true power of madness!"
Lyra's eyes narrowed, her voice cold. "You're not listening to me, Kane. You're going to get yourself killed."
Kane's grin widened, his eyes flashing with anger. "And what do you care, Lyra? You're just a cold, calculating Demon. You don't know the first thing about passion or power!"
Lyra's face twisted in anger, her eyes blazing with fury. "How dare you!" she spat, her voice echoing through the hallway.
And with that, Drian appeared, his eyes fixed on Kane. "Enough," he said, his voice calm. "Let's end this."
The two Demons faced off in the battlefield, their powers locked in a struggle that seemed to shake the very foundations of the estate. The rain grew heavier, casting a gloomy shadow over the battlefield.
Kane's eyes blazed with madness, his sword flashing with a fierce blue light. Drian's expression remained calm, but his eyes burned with determination.
Drian drew his sword, its blade shining with a faint silver glow. He charged at Kane, his movements swift and deadly. Kane met him head-on, their swords clashing in a shower of sparks.
The battle raged on, the two Demons exchanging blows in a stunning display of strength and endurance. Kane's madness-fueled powers proved a perfect counter to Drian's speed and agility.
But Drian refused to yield, drawing on every last ounce of strength to launch a final, desperate attack. His sword flashed with fire, and he struck Kane with a devastating blow.
Kane stumbled backward, his eyes wide with shock. Drian's sword had pierced his chest, scratching his Life Crystal. The Crystal shattered like glass, and Kane's heart sank.
He knew that his Life Crystal was the source of his power, and without it, he was doomed. The rain grew heavier, casting a dark and gloomy shadow over the battlefield.
The spectators watched in horror as Kane fell to his knees, his eyes wide with shock. Drian stood over him, his sword still trembling with the force of his blow.
And in that moment, the tournament was over. Drian stood victorious
After they match
As I stood before the Head of the Family, I knew that my fate was sealed. They had always seen me as a threat, a illegitimate child with the blood of the Denatric's Family. And now, with my Life Crystal shattered, I was nothing more than a useless mortal.
The Head of the Family, a cold and calculating Demon, looked at me with contempt. "You are no longer worthy of being a part of this family," he spat. "You and your mother will leave immediately."
My mother, kind and innocent, looked at me with tears in her eyes. "But why?" she asked, her voice trembling. "We have done nothing wrong."
The Head of the Family sneered. "You have done everything wrong," he said. "You have brought shame to our family, and now you will pay the price."
I knew that this was coming, but I didn't care. I was a crazy dude, after all. But my mother, she didn't deserve this. She was kind and stupid, and she didn't know the ways of the Demons.
Lyra, the cold and calculating Demon who had been appointed to be my "guardian", looked at me with a cold gaze. I knew that she was just waiting for the perfect moment to strike, to finish me off once and for all.
But I didn't care. I was already dead, in every sense of the word. My Life Crystal was shattered, and I was nothing more than a mortal. I might as well be dead.
As we were escorted out of the family estate, I couldn't help but laugh. This was it, the end of the road for me. But I didn't care. I was free, finally free from the chains of the Denatric's Family.
My mother looked at me, tears streaming down her face. "Kane, what are we going to do?" she asked, her voice trembling.
I just shrugged. "We'll figure something out," I said. "We always do."
But deep down, I knew that we were in trouble. Without my Life Crystal, I was nothing more than a mortal. And Lyra, she was still out there, waiting for her chance to strike.
We were in grave dange
r, and I knew it. But I didn't care. I was a crazy dude, after all. Bring it on.
