Giant Gorge.
Ducao looked at the holographic projection of the Iron Man suits and fell silent for a moment.
"Lianfeng, can Earth's technology achieve mass production of these Iron Man suits?"
After observing the projection for a while, Ducao turned to Lianfeng and asked.
"It's possible. If we can solve the energy issue, Earth's technology could also produce these suits."
"But, General, with all due respect, even if we could produce the Iron Man suits, the cost would be too high, and we wouldn't be able to achieve such defensive capabilities."
"And then there's the issue of the systems equipped on the suits. With Earth's current level of computing technology, any slightly advanced civilization could easily hack into the system. If that happens, wouldn't we just be handing the enemy our assets?"
Lianfeng understood Ducao's intentions, so she quickly laid out all the problems she could think of.
"What if we reduce the costs? As for the energy issue, since Zhang Zheng gifted these Iron Man suits to the frontline soldiers, we can work on solving the energy problem ourselves."
"As for the defense issue, we'll have to figure that out on our own."
"If the nation could mass-produce these suits, we could temporarily solve the problem of airborne combat units."
Ducao was pragmatic. He wanted to address the suit issue but lacked the technical expertise, so he handed the problem back to Lianfeng.
"What about the suit's system? General, the De Nuo system is currently ineffective against Morgana's demonic civilization."
"It can resist the Gluttons, but I'm not optimistic if we face the demons."
Lianfeng was still troubled by the system issue. She could find solutions for the energy and materials, but if the system failed, even mass-producing the suits would just benefit the enemy.
"What if we switch to manual operation?"
Ducao asked.
"We could try, but I can't guarantee the effectiveness."
Lianfeng replied.
Tianhe City.
The Dawn's Light slowly landed on the ground. Ge Xiaolun and the others stared at the burning Tianhe City, their fists clenched tightly.
For the first time, those who had grown up in a peaceful society witnessed such a brutal scene, leaving each of them deeply unsettled.
But when they tried to search for the enemy, they realized that aside from a few large ships in the sky, the enemy had already disappeared.
"Big Sis, where are the enemies?"
Liu Chuang was dumbfounded and had no choice but to ask the team leader, Di Leina.
Di Leina didn't answer Liu Chuang's question but instead looked at Ge Xiaolun.
"Xiaolun, fly up and scout for the enemy's location."
"Okay, I'm on it."
Ge Xiaolun didn't waste any time. Unlike in the original story, they had already fought the demon queen, so they weren't too afraid of these small bosses like the Gluttons. Without further ado, Ge Xiaolun flapped his wings and took off.
Flying into the air, Ge Xiaolun looked down at the devastated Tianhe City, clenching his teeth.
On the ground, they could only see what was in front of them, and that was already enough to infuriate those who had lived in peaceful times. Now, seeing the entire ruined city and the bodies lying on the ground, Ge Xiaolun felt he needed to do something.
"Ah...!"
Ge Xiaolun let out an angry shout, venting his emotions. Forgetting his scouting mission, he immediately sped towards the nearest large ship and swung his giant sword at it.
With a loud crash, Ge Xiaolun's sword carved a massive hole in the Gluttons' large ship.
Using too much force, Ge Xiaolun ended up crashing into the ship.
"Xiaolun, respond."
Di Leina called out anxiously in the Shenhe system, seeing Ge Xiaolun's reckless actions.
On the ground, the Iron Man warriors, who had been observing, saw what Ge Xiaolun did and figured it was a good idea. They all took off and charged toward the two remaining Glutton ships that weren't protected by energy barriers.
Di Leina, who had been calling for Ge Xiaolun, was stunned when she saw the Iron Man suits take off.
Di Leina, never having seen such a scene before, watched as hundreds of Iron Man suits surrounded the two Glutton ships, hacking away with their arm blades until they tore the ships apart.
"Rose, with Earth already this powerful, why are we even here?"
Di Leina asked Du Qiangwei, feeling a bit disheartened.
As the Dawn Goddess, she hadn't even had a chance to show her power before the battle was over. Di Leina felt a bit disappointed.
Du Qiangwei was equally puzzled by Di Leina's question. She had no idea that China had such a mech unit.
So, instead of answering, she contacted the Juxia in the Heijia communications system and asked, "Giant Gorge, what's going on with the mechs in Tianhe City? We didn't receive any orders to coordinate with a mech unit!"
"China doesn't have a mech unit yet. This mech unit was a gift from Zhang Zheng to the frontline soldiers in Tianhe City, so there's no conflict with your mission."
"Also, the Gluttons' main ship has a massive energy barrier that the mechs can't penetrate, so it's still up to you."
Ducao's voice came through the Heijia system. Since it was a public channel, everyone heard it.
"Damn, Brother Zheng is something else, even bringing out mech warriors."
Zhao Xin couldn't help but comment in the system.
The entire Shenhe system exploded into chatter, with Liu Chuang and the others turning it into a group chat.
On the other side of the communication, Ducao and the other leaders were left speechless. Was this a chatroom?
"Alright, everyone quiet down. Now, let's figure out how to deal with the Gluttons' main ship."
"Let me make it clear, it's not that I can't do it, but the ship is too close to the ground. As the Goddess, I can't risk destroying it to protect you all, so you'll have to figure it out yourselves."
Di Leina scolded the group and then distanced herself from the problem, asserting that she had the ability but was holding back.
"Can the energy barrier be bypassed with a wormhole?"
Du Qiangwei asked Di Leina.
They didn't want Di Leina using her powers excessively on Earth. They were no longer the inexperienced rookies from half a year ago and understood the dangers of her abilities.
"It's possible, but I can't do it. Rose, it's up to you."
Di Leina was honest. She specialized in stellar energy, but wormhole traversal wasn't her forte.
"Alright then, Rose."
"You can teleport me in, and I'll chop it up. I've had enough of that ship sitting there."
Liu Chuang volunteered eagerly when he heard Di Leina say that Qiangwei had a way.
He had been holding back for too long. Ge Xiaolun had already charged into the enemy's ship and was wreaking havoc, and Liu Chuang's Black Hammer was itching for action.
"You can't. I can't use the micro-wormhole on you guys yet. The human body is too complex, let alone your divine bodies."
Du Qiangwei would've liked to teleport Liu Chuang, but she didn't have that capability yet.
"Then what do we do? Rose, your attack power isn't enough!"
Liu Chuang was stunned when Du Qiangwei said it wasn't possible.
"You guys cover me while I get close to the main ship. I'll teleport inside and then coordinate with the South China Fleet's firepower to bring it down."
Du Qiangwei suggested.
This was the original plan, but the battle had shifted too quickly, and they had forgotten about it.
Now that the mech unit couldn't break through, they had no choice but to stick to the plan.
