Apart from internet services, there were many other ways he could make money from it. This wasn't just about gaining the recognition he needed to become a Class F Librarian; he still needed to become truly rich.
Well, he was already rich, but he wasn't comfortably rich yet. Five hundred billion Naira was a lot, truly a lot. However, if you wanted to be truly wealthy, then that much would be nothing to you.
He had no reason to settle for the little he had when there were people like Mr. Larry Bin, who was on the list of the world's richest people. The man's account was definitely heavier than his entire family's combined.
"Come to think of it, I need to move," Richard thought as he looked around.
His current location was great, but it definitely didn't match his pocket. He didn't want to hide his wealth, nor was he the type to enjoy suffering.
A bigger apartment would make more sense at a time like this. It may not be needed now, but it definitely would be in the future. While he was deciding on the next best course of action, it quickly became time to meet with the manufacturing company.
It was a quick call, and after twenty minutes, an agreement was reached. The total price for everything was around 100 million Naira. He would pay half upfront and the other half after the product was delivered.
It was a lot of money, but Richard considered it cheap. Total manufacturing time would take up to a month or two. Richard didn't know the exact time they would finish, but he expected it to be around two months.
This meant that he would be getting his servers in about four months' time: two months to create the machines necessary for the creation of the servers and another two months to create the servers themselves.
Using this time, he decided to prepare a place for the machines to be installed. After gathering his thoughts, he immediately began searching the web for a good real estate company.
He now had enough money to use as he pleased—100 million Naira was quite literally nothing to him at the moment. It didn't take long before he found one, but as he looked through their catalog, he found himself reconsidering.
He could buy a house and be able to move in immediately, but he doubted that he would find one that fit his criteria. Building a house would probably be better. Due to how advanced the server he intended to create was, he planned for it to be within viewing distance.
It would be expensive, but it would be worth it. Changing his search criteria, he searched for land. Within seconds, he was faced with several options, with the cheapest being just a few thousand Naira per plot.
However, based on the description, it was located in a rural area. It was perfect. Without hesitation, he immediately called the number provided. Yes, he knew that due to its rural nature, there was a risk of robbery; however, they would be coming in search of money, not equipment to steal.
Even if they did, they would never think to or even be able to steal the server. It would be heavy, and besides, they wouldn't even be able to see it in the first place or figure out what it was.
After about twenty minutes of talking, he was able to acquire about six plots of land. There were visitation plans for the next few days, which Richard planned to attend. Dealing with a company was much easier than dealing with individuals.
It was enough for what he planned, and after that, he quickly pulled up his laptop to use the Research Bot. It may be called Research Bot, but it was an all-around AI bot.
Describing the sort of house he planned to build and how he wanted it built, he let the bot do its job, and as expected, it produced several results within seconds.
Richard wouldn't say he understood much about architecture, but thankfully, Research Bot created 3D models of each blueprint it created. With a blueprint in hand, he quickly checked the internet for any construction company nearby.
It didn't take long before he found one and immediately contacted them. Just like with the real estate company, after a brief twenty minutes, he was invited for a visit to their location.
"So that's land and manpower down, what remains?" Richard asked himself.
There really wasn't much that remained, but looking around him, he immediately began to laugh. Of course, he still had to move.
How could a rich man like him live in such a small room? This time, there wasn't much he had to look for. He had friends who were 'agents.' Without hesitation, he contacted one of them, and in basically ten minutes, he had a new apartment to his name.
To his former self, such an apartment, which cost almost six hundred thousand Naira per year, would be expensive, but now, it had barely begun to scratch the surface of his wealth.
As he paid in full, and because it was to a friend, he added extra money for renovations like paint and any necessary repairs. At the same time, he ordered a new bed, some minor furniture, and lastly, the parts for the most high-end PC he could buy. His laptop was powerful, but he couldn't call it top-tier. Maybe five years ago, but not now.
"Guy, I'll be there by next week o, please tell them to do it quickly; paint doesn't take time to dry," Richard said as he continued clicking on various products he needed and wanted.
"Bro, don't worry, is it not me again? I got your back," the man replied, to which Richard just smiled.
Apart from that, there wasn't much he had to do. He had acquired the basic things he needed. As for a place to put the machines after they had been assembled, he would deal with it tomorrow. He was going to a real estate company, after all.
They were bound to have a warehouse or two for sale. For this part, he didn't have many criteria. It was just a place to create and assemble the parts he needed for the servers.
If the machines were delivered, then he could technically make any device he wanted there, as long as he had the production method and the materials.
"That is true; I need to work on gathering the materials and workers."
