Chapter 4 - Miniature World

A strong brightness overwhelmed Oliver's body as he felt he was gently pushed forward.

In just a split second, everything changed around him. He was no longer in the room.

'What is this place?'

Oliver thought, his heart pounding in his chest. Looking at the surroundings, he took a deep breath, trying to calm the rising panic.

Then suddenly he noticed something that he had completely ignored. His body no longer ached. The paralyze from being hit by debris and his head smashing into a sidewalk had disappeared, as if it had never happened.

Then he began slowly moving forward, exploring the surroundings. Looking around, his eyes landed on a mountain—or at least, what looked like a mountain.

But it was so small compared to his own body. Next to it was a river, though it seemed more likely to be a small stream.

'This is a miniature world,' he suddenly realized with shock, 'I am a giant here.'

Memories of reading 'Gulliver's Travels' as a child flooded back to him.

But in that story, Gulliver was merely a giant in a land of small people.

Here, he was a towering giant, a behemoth in a world so small it almost seemed like a model. But this was no story. This was real.

---

At this moment outside godfall, an army of 50,000 Kano soldiers was pursuing Prince Luis.

While pursuing Luis, they destroyed dozens of villages, leaving no one alive, and looted all the supplies.

Now, in their chase, they have arrived at the edge of Godfall.

A scout whose face was pale and trembling approached General Austin with urgency.

"General," the scout was full of hesitation. "They... they have entered inside Godfall, and I didn't dare to enter that cursed place."

Hearing this, General Austin gazed at the scout and slowly looked towards the godfall. It was gloomy, with fog obstructing the vision.

"Hahahaha," Austin suddenly laughed as if there was something funny.

'So, Luis, do you really think I wouldn't dare to enter the godfall?' Thinking of this, he didn't dare to delay any further and immediately shouted the commands.

"Everyone, prepare. We are hunting down Luis."

Hearing this, every soldier was shocked. The general ordered them to enter godfall. They began to murmur to each other in fear. Everyone was looking at each other, hoping that someone could persuade the general.

At this moment, Luitenant General stepped forward and walked towards General Austin.

"General, please reconsider. They've entered Godfall. They'll meet their doom inside—there's no need for us to follow them."

Hearing Gaston say this, a hint of irritation appeared in the eyes of Austin.

"No, we are entering and capturing Luis," he commanded without backing down.

But Gaston was also not ready to back down. Entering godfall surely is death. He leaned in closer to Austin.

"Are you mad?" He scolded Austin without any fear.

"You know what happens to those who enter that place. No one ever comes out. We should turn back now before it's too late. I'll take full responsibility for failing to capture Prince Luis."

Hearing this Austin gaze harden, this Gaston was constantly obstructing him. He responded indifferently.

"Those are just stories—fairy tales to scare children and weak-willed soldiers. We have orders from the king. We will find Luis and retrieve the treasure, no matter the cost."

Hearing this Gaston's face pale as he stepped backward, he could disobey Austin, but on the order of King, he couldn't ignore it.

"Everyone, follow me inside the godfall; Luis must be caught," Austin commanded as his voice was full of authority.

"ANYONE WHO DISOBEYS THE ORDER WILL BE EXECUTED ON THE SPOT!" After saying this, look around for anyone who would disobey him.

The soldiers after hearing this began to move slowly. Godfall was dangerous, but as soldiers, they were trained to obey every order of superior.

As they entered godfall, the atmosphere around them began to change, becoming gloomy and darker. Even the bravest warrior among them had worry on their faces.

At the back of the formation, Lieutenant Gaston walked with a small group of trusted men as his mind raced.

"If we survive this," he muttered, "I'll personally report this madness to the king."

His friend Ferrer, after hearing this, nodded slowly.

"Yeah, if we survive," his voice was full of hopelessness.

What everyone here didn't know was that Austin knew the real truth about this place. This was no battlefield of God. He had read the truth about Godfall in the royal library.

If this was really the battlefield of God, Austin wouldn't dare to enter even if he had hundreds of lives.

As the army plunged deeper into the forest, the darkness seemed to close in around them. The trees loomed overhead like silent sentinels, their twisted branches reaching out like skeletal hands.

But seeing all these, Austin's determination never wavered. His only goal is to retrieve world treasure from his body. If he can bring the treasure back to the kingdom, it will be a huge kingdom merit.

The Kano army was pressing forward slowly and cautiously.

The atmosphere was tense, each soldier gripping their weapons tightly, eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger.

Suddenly the horses, who were usually obedient, began to panic, causing chaos among the soldiers.

The soldiers tugged at the reins, trying to calm the animals, but the horses refused to move forward. They pawed at the ground, shaking their heads wildly.

"Damn it! What is wrong with them?" A soldier shouted in frustration and kicked his horse.

Then suddenly, before anyone could react, a terrifying scream sounded from the front of the army.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

This scream was hysterical, filled with pure fear. The screaming soldier fell to the ground and was trying to crawl away from the place.

"What is wrong with him?" a soldier couldn't help but question. His thoughts were full of thoughts about the stories of godfall.

"Ah, General!" a voice full of anxiety shouted from the front ranks.

"Look at that!"
