Chapter 18 - Cleaning up dungeon is child's play

The layout of the dungeon is similar to that of the adjacent office building.

The only difference is that to clear other buildings, Damian only needs to ensure that his own floor is blocked and safe. But in this dungeon, he needs to carefully search every corner to prevent zombies from being left in a certain room.

There were only 300 zombies in the dungeon. After deducting the quota for four people, there are still 296 zombies left to kill. If he missed a few zombies hiding somewhere, he would eventually have to face off against the two mutated zombies on the highest floor.

"Let's start the clean up." Damian said and pulled his sword out.

The level of the ordinary zombies on the first floor is level 3. After all, Damian brought four unleveled trash, so the level of the ordinary zombies has been neutralized a lot.

Damian quickly cleaned up the zombies on the outside. After all, it was the entrance hall and information office, and there were relatively few independent rooms.

Few zombies on the outside, few zombies in the storage room, and then two in the bathroom. He found a total of nineteen here.

Speaking of which, Damian felt this game system had some inexplicable fate with the women's restroom. Last time he found a sub legendary treasure chest which had winter's wrath in it, and this time a bronze one, which contained two bottles of strength recovery potion, which can be used when exhausted to restore 30% of physical strength.

"Maybe the one who allocates these things is a horny little perverted bastard." Damian cursed the gaming God and then walked away.

After forcefully breaking the elevator space and carefully checking if any zombie was hiding inside, Damian climbed the stairs to the second floor.

The second floor belonged to a normal small company. It had an ordinary office, three independent cubicles, conference room, document storage room, restroom, coffee/break room and an open lounge area.

There are so many locked rooms, and the glass is not completely transparent anywhere, so it increases the search difficulty.

(As we know Damian ain't a patient man. I mean he is when he has to be, but not when he can make better solutions.)

He was never good at hide-and-seek when he was a child. He's the type who would be the first to be found if he ever hid, but he couldn't find jack shit when it was his turn.

Fortunately that's not the case now.

To deal with stupid zombies whose brains are so simple that they will be attracted by the slightest sound, this game is much easier.

Damian killed the zombies in front of him, then picked up the office chair and threw it straight into the conference room. There was a loud click, and the glass shattered all over the floor. Immediately afterwards, seven or eight zombies emerged from different rooms, and the roars of zombies came from the two locked rooms, banging their heads on walls and doors.

Damian simply started hacking everyone to death with a few cuts, and then followed the voice to clean up the rooms one by one.

at last...

"There are zombies trapped in a place like this. It's really like hide and seek." Damian said as he jumped up in the air and slashed into the ceiling with a sword.

"Frost Strike"

The winter's wrath passed by, and suddenly, the ceiling broke and two zombies sliced in two parts rolled down from the hole.

Damian smashed another window again and made sure there were no zombies on the second floor. Then he entered the third floor to search. He followed the same example and quickly cleaned up the third floor too.

The scene remained the same even when he reached the fourth and fifth floors. As for the sixth one...

Looking at the treasure chest in front of him and the sign on the door, Damian, who had just opened the bathroom door, became more and more suspicious that there really was a perverted God out there.

(Heh what does he know, it's not a perverted God, but me, the mighty author hehahaha)

Damian stayed in his place with a crooked face and lost in thought. 'If I continue like this and open a few more treasure chests in the bathrooms, will the game get a weirder title?'

Like, [The lucky player in the bathroom. Or the looter of washroom gifts.

— After equipping this title, you can increase the probability of finding treasure chests in the bathroom, or improve the quality or probability of the treasure chests found in the bathroom.]

It helps to a certain extent, but no, he will never equip it. After all, just from the sound of it, this kind of title stinks.

__ Cough cough,, back to story

After the tenth floor, the zombie level is upgraded from level 3 to level 4. However, their overall attributes are still much weaker than Damian.

Because of the blessing of equipment and free attribute points, let alone them, even level 5 zombies of the same level have much worse attributes than him.

The zombies' tough skin, which is enough to withstand ordinary cold type weapons, is as fragile as paper under the winter's wrath.

If the zombies were intelligent, they would be shouting loudly that he was cheating, or if this reality really was a game, then someone would surely complain that he had a modded version of it.

Damian, who has the winter's wrath, regards the apocalypse at this moment as if he drove an iron tank equipped with a machine gun on top directly to the battlefield in the days when everyone was still using elephant-drawn carriages to pull artillery.

Eleventh floor, twelfth floor, thirteenth floor...

After clearing the 23rd floor, level 6 zombies began to appear. They have 35 points of agility, plus there are four or five on each floor, which caused a little bit of trouble for Damian. But he took advantage of the complex environment of the office. And finally got through it safely.

When killing level 6 zombies, apart from feeling that the difficulty has increased, the rest is just heartache.

Normally, a level 6 zombie can provide at least 12 experience points. Even the previous level 3 zombies can provide 6 experience points.

The experience value to upgrade from level 5 to 6 requires 900 points. And then it takes 1,200 points to upgrade from level 6 to 7.

The three hundred zombies in the building alone were enough for him to jump from level 5 to 7. But it's a pity that the zombies in the dungeons don't give any experience.

"Stupid game." Damian cursed as soon as he thought about it.

"Roar!"

As soon as Damian stepped onto the 30th floor, two zombies attacked him from the left and right.

Damian jumped back, pushed his right leg on the wall, suddenly exerted force, jumped high to avoid the zombies, and then rolled into a relatively safe area.

"Appraise…"

[ Ordinary zombies

Level:LV7

Strength:40

Agility:40

Constitution: 40

Spirit:40

Skills: Alienated Claws, Viral Infection

__Alienated Claws: The front claws of zombies have been enhanced to have extremely strong defense and lethality.

__Viral infection: Zombies contain a large amount of zombie viruses, which can be infected in many ways. ]

"Finally the last two." Damian said to himself as they pounced on him again.

He raised his left hand and fired a large ice crystal from his palm, shooting it straight towards the eye of the zombie on the left, and then dragged the sword forward to chase behind the ice crystal.

The zombie swung its sharp claws and smashed the ice crystals into pieces. But before it could move its claws away, the sword behind ice crystals had already arrived.

"Zrrrrrr"

At this moment, there was a sudden sound of breaking through the air behind Damian's head. So he could only give up on killing the zombie, turned around and grabbed the claws covered with gray-white carapace from in front of his eyes.

'Close call.' Damian thought, as he swept the floor with a sweeping kick. The force given by 60 points of strength and 55 points of constitution allowed him to easily knock down the level 7 zombie with one solid kick.

Damian is not only strong in swordsmanship, but also in two fighting skills he learned in his past life.

The close combat skill and special fighting methods were skills he spent years trying to learn. All that hard work might not have worked well against the lucky hero, but against these dumb zombies, he's like Bruce Lee against beta cuck.

The results cannot be more obvious.

"Roar!"

The other zombie still standing behind tried to grab his head and bite off his brain.

To which Damian took his time and sent out the long sword from the bottom up.

The winter's wrath penetrated the zombie's claws. Damian twisted his waist and used the sword to get stuck in the zombie's claws.

He grabbed the sword's hilt and then released his skill, 'frost strike'. The penetrative power increased instantly and even after he pulled the sword back, the zombie still flew out driven by the power of frost strike skill.

(In simple words, he stabbed the zombie, then released a frost air shock from the sword's tip before pulling it out. The sword came back to his hands but the zombie flew away due to pressure.)

Immediately afterwards, Damian turned around and used a heavy attack on the zombie that had not yet gotten up, and easily chopped its head.

With only one left, things became much simpler.

Damian briefly exchanged a few moves with the one that flew out and crawled back, and finally sent it to hell with a mediocre slash.

[300 zombies killed.]
