"Well to help you get used to things easier, and put your mind at ease we can talk in my office." Stephen said, taking my hand and leading me through the spacious foyer.
On the one hand I mostly wanted to extrapolate my hand from Stephen's, but on the other I knew that if I did let go, I would no doubt wonder off and get lost as hell just exploring the beautiful mansion.
The beautiful cream colored walls and marbled floors contrasted sensually with the blood red furniture, carpeting, and drapes. Nearly everything was lined and encrusted in a golden finish.
Stephen was practically dragging me up the stairs, and down the 2nd floor hallway, while I looked around in dazed amazement.
'Surely this borders on royalty. Just who the hell have I gone home with!?'
Soon we stopped at a door that was much deeper into the house than I had realized. We had walked and turned enough corners that I'd never be able to make it out on my own.
'Fuck. I hope Todd was paying enough attention.'
Stephen opened the door to his office, and I gasped for the umpteenth time since pulling up to the mansion. However, this time my awe was more so in exasperation. There were piles of documents everywhere. I was barely able to see over the desk.
'Would it be rude of me to ask what the hell exploded in here?'
Stephen let out a playful laugh. "Yeah sorry about the mess. No one usually enters this room but me, and personally this is more like organized chaos for me." Stephen said, as he expertly moved documents to a nearby shelf with ordered precision.
He clearly wasn't just placing documents anywhere. Then he moved a moderately large chair to one side of his desk. Then turned to face me and Todd.
"Would the bodyguard prefer to sit, or stand?" He asked in a tone that was both authoritative and playful. As if he already knew the answer.
"Standing is preferred, as it will assist me in my protection detail." Todd replied, walking over and pulling out the chair for me while dusting off the cushion.
I couldn't help but noticed he also searched the seat for something unknown. Having no other choice, nor a reason to decline, I took the seat offered to me.
Meanwhile, Stephen shrugged his shoulders and headed for the chair on the opposite side of the desk.
He paused mid-step, then turned for the filing cabinet on his left. He opened up the 2nd drawer and rummaged through it until he pulled out a thin folder. Closing the drawer, he headed for the chair and sat down placing the folder in between us.
I swallowed, knowing full well the conversation was about to get heavy. Sitting across from this man, in his home, surrounded by his heavy smell made his aura all the more imposing.
I don't like pain very much, and I also wasn't sure what I would be comfortable trying since I'd never done anything like this before.
I looked down at the words on the file folder and shuddered at the title. 'Partner/Pet Contract'..... I never expected to be signing a contract, to hold me to my words.
'A man is only as good as his word.'
I could practically hear my father yelling that phrase at me, every time I felt like something was too hard or the odds were stacked against me. As if sensing my distress Stephen began to explain a little.
"So as you can see this is merely a contract for your safety. I will never do anything expressly forbidden in this contract. If you would rather discuss it in private, Todd can stand outside the door and give periodic knocks to put your mind at ease."
"That won't be necessary," I replied, sensing Todd loosen up after hearing my reply.
"Todd? Could u wait outside the door for a bit. If I don't come out in 30 minutes. You have my express permission to kill anyone to save or avenge me." I said looking at Todd with pleading eyes, so he couldn't stubbornly resist the idea.
"As you wish, Mizuyuki. I will be directly outside the door. You need only to yell to request my assistance."
'Forgive me Todd, it's just too embarrassing to talk about this kind of stuff in front of you. You're like a big brother to me, I hope you actually understand.'
If I had to chose, I didn't want to have this kind of conversation in front of Todd, but I had to admit I definitely didn't want to be alone with Stephen either. I felt like I'd turn to putty in his hands the moment I agreed to any of his suggestions.
'I've come this far now...might as well hear him out.'
"Please read this over. You can put a check mark by the things you are okay trying, a question mark by things unsure, an 'X' by things you refuse to try, and on the last page there is a box to write the safeword you would want to use. Try to use a word not commonly said in sexual circumstances, but also a word you feel comfortable saying anytime, so you don't feel backed into a corner when it comes time for you to say it." Stephen explained, while I looked over the pages barely keeping my eyes from popping out of my skull.
The list of things to try was extensive as hell. Some stuff I had no idea what it was. Others I knew and immediately felt my face flush and my cheeks burn.
'So glad I sent Todd away. No way could I ever face him again if I filled this out in front of him!'
"U-Uh...um. What's this p-part mean by mandatory e-enemas?" I stammered out.
"Hmmm... think of it as a mandatory cleaning ritual. To insure both parties enjoy themselves without feeling too self conscious during sexual bouts." He explained with a sensual aloofness I certainly didn't feel.
I could tell that there were buried undertones not mentioned, but I knew what an enema was. I just wanted to confirm that what I thought and what it was, were one in the same.
'I mean I'm certainly not apposed to extra cleanliness.'
I thought while marking a checkmark by it.
"I will mention while you are going through the list that, just because you agree to it now does not mean you later cannot rescind the offer. All one would need to do is ammend the contract. However, I must reiterate that mandatory enemas are a hard point, and therefore cannot be negotiated later." Stephen said, with a playful glint in his eyes.
"If you are having any second thoughts about that, I would suggest not signing the contract and backing out now. It's not too late to back out now. We could still be friends, however the sexual aspect would never again apply to us." He continued, as my pen hovered over the contract.
