As if burned, Tyson suddenly let her go and created some distance between them.
"Tyson." Skylar called, worried something had happened. "Is something wrong?"
"Yes, something is wrong. I fücking hate you!"
"What?" She whispered.
"I hate you; I'll always hate you and nothing will ever stop me from hating you. You ruined my life and for that, I'll make your life a living hell in here. For every second you're in here, you'll regret ever making that deal with me." Tyson gritted, clenching his fingers to keep him from breaking anything.
Her shock turned to one of indifference. Ruined his life?!
Skylar raised her head high, showing no signs of fear. Not even the deadly look on Tyson's face could intimidate her. "Do your worst Tyson but I promise you, one day, you'll remember me and I don't care how long it'll take. I can wait."
Tyson growled and unable to control himself any longer, pinned her against the wall, his thick palm pinning her hands above her head, his face mere inches from hers.
''Don't push me Skylar, I could hurt you and I would not regret it."
"Like I said Tyson, do your worst."
He stared at her for a few seconds, not knowing what to do with or to her.
"Fuck this." He groaned and slammed his lips roughly against hers. Skylar moaned and hungrily kissed him back, enjoying the feel of his house mouth against hers. She still remembered how his lips felt the first time they kissed. It was the best moment of her life, one she could never forget.
He pressed himself hard against her as he deepened the kiss. Even with how rough he was kissing her, his lips felt soft and warm. She couldn't seem to get enough, she wanted more of him. She wanted him to be hers and hers alone. The idea of having to share him with Lila was infuriating. Wanting to strangle her had been on her mind lots of times. It took a lot of self control not to give in to such urge.
Tyson lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He moved to the bed and gently dropped her on it with him on top without breaking the kiss.
Skylar's lips tasted real good better than even Lila's but he wasn't willing to admit it. Admitting it would mean accepting the fact that he was slowly losing feelings for Lila. Just in the few weeks he had known Skylar, the thought of Lila was no longer clouding his mind like it used to. Everywhere he went, he saw Skylar. No matter how he distanced himself from her, how he spent most of his time with Lila, nothing seemed to work. Even when he tried to make love with Lila, it was Skylar's face he saw. It was so bad, he had to stop in between. He hated himself for feeling that way. He was about to cheat on Lila but maybe sleeping with her would get her off his mind. It was stupid, yes, but it was worth a try.
He broke the kiss and looked at her. Her lips were really pink and swollen and she looked flushed. Her towel was almost completely loose but still covered enough. Her breathing was heavy with her mouth slightly parted. She looked breathtaking and he wanted her there and then. It was crazy that he could want someone so bad. He always felt like something was missing in him but with her around, he felt complete. It didn't make any sense. He had been with Lila for three years and he never for once felt that way.
And what did Skylar want him to remember so bad? What exactly did he forget that could be so important? He never remembered ever having amnesia. None of it made any sense.
"I need answers." He murmured.
"And you will get them." She responded; her breathing had become normal.
"When?"
"Anytime you want."
"Hmm." He hummed then got up, leaving Skylar speechless and shocked. "Get dressed, there's something I want to show you."
"Now? But it's really late."
"Will you get dressed or not?" He asked with a bored look.
"Geez! Fine!" And like that the heat was gone. She rolled her eyes and got up. She walked to her overnight backpack and picked out what to wear while Tyson excused himself.
"I'll be at at the garage." He said and walked out.
Skylar shook her head and dressed up. She wore a bum short with a black plain T-shirt. On her feet were two black Nike sneakers. She packed her hair into a messy bun and after checking herself in the mirror, she went to join him in the garage.
He looked at her outfit with a frown. "I think you need to change the shorts, you might catch a cold."
"No, there's no need. I never feel cold."
"Really?" He asked with an arched brow. "A condition, perhaps?"
"You could say that. So..." She added looking around. "What did you want to show me?"
"Not here." He opened the front passenger door and motioned for her to get in.
"O-kay." She said and got right in. Tyson closed the door and walked to the driver's side. A second later, he turned on the engine of the car and drove out. His car was a Black latest version Mercedes Benz, the kind Batman drives.
After driving for an hour in silence, Skylar couldn't take it anymore and decided to break it.
"So where are we going?"
"You'll see."
"You've been driving for about an hour, Tyson. How much farther is this place?"
"About thirty minutes, give or take."
She sighed in boredom. "Are you this boring? Or you're just boring around me?"
"Depends on your definition of boring."
"Well, I define boring as not saying a single word to me for the past one hour."
"Maybe that's because I have nothing to say."
"You could have at least made an effort."
"I'm talking now, aren't I?"
"Oh Lord! You know what? Forget about it." She snapped, feeling annoyed.
"Don't you think I've forgotten enough?" He asked quietly which caused her to frown a bit. Before she could ask what he meant, he parked the car at a dark forest. The light from the car was the only thing Illuminating the whole place. Not even the sound of birds could be heard.
"Where are we?" She asked silently.
"I don't know."
"What?" She asked, casting a glance at him. "What do you mean by you don't know? You brought us here."
"If I tell you, you might think I'm crazy. For some reason, I feel like I can confide in you but then..... I might be wrong."
"I will never think you're more crazy than you already are, Tyson. Tell me, what's going on?"
Tyson took a deep breath then nodded.
"Lately, I've been having this pull toward this place. I don't know why. The first time I came here was two months ago. Lila was having one of her lapses and I needed to clear my head before I lost it. I got into the car and started driving. I just kept driving and eventually, I found myself here. I've never been to this place, I didn't even know such a place existed because it's not even on the map and it's on the outskirts of town. This place is completely deserted, no birds, no nothing. I checked the last time. It's so weird because it feels like I've been here before, not two months ago but like way back, many years ago. I feel some kind of connection to this place, some kind of pull. Does that even make any sense?"
Skylar was about to respond but then stopped. Tyson noticed. "What's wrong?"
"Your nose, it's bleeding, more than usual."
"What?" He wiped his nose but the blood kept rushing out.
"Oh my God! Are you okay?!"
"What's happening to me Skylar? This doesn't feel normal, none of this does!"
"Tyson, you need to calm down."
"I AM CALM!" He yelled angrily causing Skylar to wince. "I need answers Skylar! And my mind tells me that you know more than enough!"
"I do but...." She paused and sniffed the air.
Noticing the change in her, he asked. "What's wrong?"
"We need to get out of the car?"
"Why?"
"GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW!" She yelled and they both jumped out at the same time. A second after they had jumped out, the car flew and landed deep in the woods.
"What the fuck?!" Tyson yelles as he watched his car explode. "How did that happen?!"
"I don't know." Skylar said and got up. "But we need to get out of here, it's not safe."
"How? Our only means of transportation has been turned into an African kebab!"
"I see that!" She snapped. "Let me think!"
"You had better think fast because whatever threw my car is on its way back." Skylar looked around but didn't see any sign of any creature.
"How do you know? I don't see a thing."
"I just do. How do we get out of here?"
"For now, let's just hide in the forest until daybreak when we'll be able to get help."
"That sounds like a very bad idea! The direst is the last place we should hide in!"
"Do you have a better idea?!" Skylar snapped. Tyson opened his mouth then shut it. "Didn't think so. Come on."
Tyson sighed and walked ahead of Skylar into the forest.
"I think you should walk behind me, just to be on the safe side," Skylar murmured.
"If anyone needs protecting, it's you."
"Don't be so sure about that."
Not another word was heard from either of them until they got to what looked like the center of the forest. "I think we're deep into the forest. We should be safe now," Tyson said and sat down on a tree stump, stretching out his legs.
"Apart from consistent nose bleeds and being led to places you've never been, what other things have you experienced?" Skylar asked as she took a seat beside him
"Well..... I've been having visions."
"What kind of visions?"
"Actually, vision. It's just one that appears over and over again. Every night, it pops up and everyday, it gets more real."
"Tell me."
Tyson looked at her; stared deeply into her eyes. "You believe everything I've said so far?"
"Of course! You would never say such a thing if it wasn't true."
"I remember trying to confide in Lila once but she laughed and dismissed it as me seeing things that weren't there. Said I was watching too many horror movies and it was starting to get to me. I think she called me crazy at some point, so I just stopped telling her things."
"I'm not Lila."
"Of course!" He snorted.
"Tell me. What do you see every night?"
XXXX
She ran deep into the woods, something was chasing her, something huge with red glowing eyes and sharp fangs. She knew she couldn't out run it no matter how fast she tried to run. It was faster, way faster. Running in the first place was stupid but she couldn't just stand there and let it eat her, she wouldn't die a coward, she'd put up a fight until her last breath. At least, everyone would know she died a fighter and not a coward.
She ran so fast she didn't see the huge stone until she tripped over it, badly grazing her knee. A second later, something pinned her arms down to the ground. She couldn't scream, she wouldn't.
It looked feral and its saliva dripped onto her face. She could see the hunger in its eyes. It wanted to tear her apart in the most brutal way. It wanted her to feel the pain of its teeth tearing her flesh off. She could feel it, could sense it; that urge to kill.
"You will pay." The deep, husky and feral voice said. It was really angry. It was fuming and its claws dug deep into her flesh, pinning her further to the ground if that was even possible.
"I will tear you apart from limb to limb until there's nothing left of you. Not even your bones will be left by the time I'm done with you."
"Do you worst!" She snapped....

"After that the dream stops and repeats itself over and over. It never goes past that scene. It's like something is preventing me from seeing the rest of it."
"Something or you are. It was probably a difficult experience for you that your brain doesn't even want you to remember."
"Experience for me? You really think I was there watching it happen? Maybe my brain doesn't want me to remember because instead of saving her, I watched her get torn apart. It was probably a gory experience."
Skylar opened her mouth then kept it shut with a sigh. "That's not it Tyson."
"What do you mean?"
"You weren't just there watching the whole thing...." She paused. She wasn't sure if she should tell him. What effect would telling him have? Could she risk it?
Tyson saw how hesitant she was but he needed to know. He needed to be convinced that he wasn't crazy.
"Tell me." He pressed.
Skylar bit down on her lower lip, still contemplating then sighed. Even he wanted to know, she has no right to.hold such information from him.
"You were the creature that pinned her down. You saw the whole thing through the creatures eyes, through your other self."
