They could see her zeal and determination to make her world bright without any decline in her feeling or thought.
Prince Acumen followed Muna's carriage on his horse.
Ever since yesterday, his mind has been on Muna and the kiss that sent sparks to his heart. He was attracted to her, and he wouldn't let this newfound love slip from his hands.
He was on a mission in search of the chosen, because he could not ascend the throne of his ancestors without the chosen. When he saw her yesterday, he was determined to make her his wife, for her beauty, knowledge, and grace were beyond extraordinary. He fell in love with her at first sight and never expected her to be the chosen.
He was determined not to let her go, no matter what happens. It was fate that brought them into this complex position. Acumen had already pictured how their wedding would be - a prince and a beautiful goddess in human form.
"I have to marry her no matter what happens," Acumen said to himself as he rode on his horse. He was going to chase her until he caught her. Due to some challenges Acumen faced on the road, he lost contact or track of the carriage, and that was how their paths never crossed again for the next two years. But ever since then, he did not stop looking for her.
That was how he became friends with Kevin, Muna's twin brother, as they both looked for the mysterious brethren of the war camp. After two years, nobody knew the whereabouts of Muna, but Kevin kept sending messages to his parents.
Due to some kind of shortcomings, Muna was stranded with nowhere to sleep, for the camp was very small and already filled with people. They did train well, but the feeding was a bit hard for them during the first five months she spent in the camp.
Muna prayed for a miracle as she trained along with her fellow warriors, but a miracle could not come if she sat down on her butt and did nothing.
She remembered what her brother had once told her: "No one can determine your future unless you do it yourself."
Muna decided to work hard so that she could improve their living conditions and also support them with the tiny things she could gain.
Muna walked aimlessly on the busy town of Salem at night as she tried to familiarize herself with the town.
"Help! Somebody help me!" screamed a young girl. Muna wanted to walk away and mind her own business, but something drew her attention - the words of the passerby.
"She has no superpower of her own, and now she has fallen into the hands of the Vipers. What a pity," they whispered among themselves.
Everyone knew who the Vipers were - the biggest terrorists in the town. No one had defeated them before, and they kept fear in the hearts of the people as they always struck like thieves in the night, not just destroying property but also life.
Muna could not help but walk towards the middle of the gangsters. To her surprise, the girl looked like her in everything - both in height, face, and size, with the only difference being in the voice.
"Let go of my sister," Muna said as she tried to free the grip of one of the gangsters on the young girl.
Muna was looked down upon by the gangsters as they surrounded both her and the strange girl. Muna looked like an ordinary girl, like the one they were bullying, who was now hiding behind Muna with fear written all over her face.
"Nice one, we have two sisters for the night," one of the gangsters said with his yellow teeth and a terrible voice as they all laughed.
"Catch them," the gang leader commanded, and his men walked towards Muna and the girl.
"One more move," Muna said confidently as she used her hand to touch her sword pocket, but her sword was missing. Muna looked at them with surprise as one of them brought out the sword and was showing it to her.
"Looking for this?" one of the gangsters asked, and the rest laughed at Muna.
"What are we going to do?" the girl asked, looking at Muna in horror.
"One more move," Muna repeated her statement, and they all started laughing.
"One of them took a step forward. "I have taken two steps forward. What are you going to do?" the gangster said as he laughed.
"At least I warned you," Muna said as she stretched her hands, and her sword flew from the guy's hand that was holding it. The sword passed through the body of the man who had stepped forward.
Before the sword landed in Muna's hands, it purified itself.
Immediately after Muna touched the sword, her physical appearance changed, as it had done back in her hometown five months ago.
"She's the chosen!" they all shouted as they tried to run away from Muna, but it was already too late.
From that moment, the young girl started glowing as an unknown source of energy possessed her body. It was her innate power, her superpower, which had awakened, and a symbol was embedded on her shoulder - the Assistant.
Muna killed the Vipers in the blink of an eye.
That was how Muna and Mira became close, and after finding out that Muna was the chosen one, people from far and near started bringing gifts to her in exchange for blessings.
Muna and Mira started training together, doing everything together after the rituals were performed on them.
When Muna was told the law that governed her as the chosen, she could not sleep at night. How could she stay in the world without getting married? She was already in love with someone, and now she couldn't even get married to anybody. Life was playing a critical game with her.
