Episode 6: Thailand Has Been Fully Conquered!

At the start of 2006, as usual, I celebrated my 15th birthday with mom, dad and coach. As for my height, it increased by 0.5 inches. So far, my height has been average, of course, my height before dying was a lot more average than what I'm experiencing at the moment.

After celebrating my birthday in January of 2006, I restarted my hardcore boxing training with coach Aaron. I was scheduled to fight by March 2006, again, in Thailand. I will be fighting the top 5th flyweight opponent there.

And so, days went by and training went by, I gained stat points but I did not give much attention to it as I usually check my progress by the end of each year.

For the meantime, my attention is to gain fame and money. Of course, I got a lot of other options to gain fame and money, I could just become a stock trader for fuck's sake, using my knowledge of the future, but that ain't what I need, I need a legitimate experience in fighting so as to not make myself rusty, though I could spar with veteran soldiers, trading would take up much of my time and I could not trust anyone with my money. Heh~, I guess, I still have my wariness from the previous life I had.

After finishing my training camp, I did the usual exercises and we flew to Thailand 5 days before my scheduled match.

//

The days went by so fast after we landed in Thailand, doing some light training with the coach, I just did my usual exercises. And so, my scheduled fight arrived and at the moment, we're inside the waiting room. I will be fighting next after a few undercard fights, I'll be the last fight leading to the main event.

//

The announcer called up my name in the ring and thus, we exited the waiting room and started walking towards the ring.

The rock music bombed the whole place as I walked wearing my red hooded robe. So far, during my recent fights, I gained fans so the audiences really were halved in terms of cheering and booing me. I raised my right hand as I started stepping inside the right, after the officials checked me.

I encircled the whole ring and glanced at my Thai opponent.

He also gazed fiercely at me. I smiled at that and it seemed my smile irritated him a bit. Good, this way, he'll make more mistakes.

The referee called both of us in the middle to tell us the rules and regulations during the fight. Once he was done talking, we both touched gloves and went back to our respective corners.

A few moments later, the bell rang and the referee called the fight.

//

A few rounds have passed and funny enough, this opponent has been frustratedly trying to hit one punch to my face. What a fucking retard, as if I will let that happen. Since it's been the 8th round, I guess, I will cut off my 12 rounds legend and make it a bit earlier than usual.

//

The bell rang and the 8th round started. Seeing this Thai opponent quite exhausted from the aggressive attacks he did from the previous rounds, I easily found some holes in his defenses. And when the clock went down to the last minute, I evaded his uppercut to the left and found a hole toward his right jaw near the chin and made a curved hook punch. When it landed, the whole crowd went silent and then quickly shouted crazily.

I saw my opponent went groggy so I followed with a right straight to the face. It was so hard my opponent's head rebounded twice on the canvas.

I thoroughly checked his eyes and saw that it was already dead, as in, he'll never recover from my punches during the match. The referee saw that it was impossible so he quickly declared the match was finished via knockout. And so, my 13th win has been attained.

//

After the match, I was suddenly visited by a reporter from the Philippines in the waiting room. My coach made a sign that he'll go out but I stopped him and asked him to join us. He smiled and nodded. So, both of us were asked by this female reporter. We answered her questions as basic as possible to avoid any issues, if there will ever be.

Fortunately, she seemed a normal reporter and had no hidden agendas. After 30 minutes, she thanked us both and left the waiting room.

Both the coach and I looked at each other and just laughed about what we experienced a few minutes ago.

//

After 2 days, we went back to the Philippines where both mom and dad picked us up from the airport. We dropped coach Aaron at his house while I asked mom and dad to stop by a restaurant for us to eat.

We enjoyed the day as I recall the story of my fight to them, they were quite excited hearing my thoughts during the fight.

Seeing their faces smiling and being happy makes me glad that I went back in time.

//

During my "resting period" many media personnel in Thailand went bonkers due to me never losing a fight against their best flyweight fighters, and so, the promoter of the ranked 1 flyweight boxer of Thailand, the holder of the ABCO Flyweight belt as well as the current WBC Flyweight Champion. My coach was contacted and it was confirmed that the match will be made in June 2006. A few more months as it was only the end of March 2006.

When my coach passed the news to me and my parents personally, I saw him sweating and shaking. When I asked, he told me that the call he had was very nerve wracking and the deal was 30% 70% shares, where I'll get 30% share win or lose. With my current record of 13 wins and impressively 13 knockouts, plus, a legend of never being hit in the face, 30% seemed quite right, plus I do not have a promoter, only my coach and I.

Since me and the coach accepted the challenge, it made the coach very focused and even had less sleep just to study my opponent's moves to see any holes we can take advantage of.

//

Days and months passed, the main event fight that I'll be participating in draws closer. With the ABCO and WBC Flyweight belts on the line, many reporters from Asia came to Thailand to see me. The young man in the Philippines, who's only 15, could win against the veteran boxer.

Many wanted to even stop the fight as they kept preaching that I'm only a kid, and it will be a murder. But luckily, I gained some loyal fans who fought these bashers and negative reporters. They rebutted for my stead that I was never punched in the face in all my fights, amateur or professional. They emphasized great confidence in my skill. This made the noise against me countered.

1 day before the fight, my mom and dad flew to Thailand to watch my fight. When I picked them up at the airport, I could feel the tension in their faces.

I tried to pacify these emotions from them but what can I do? They're parents who loved their child, so? I could only sigh in the end and give them confidence that I would win.

//

The fight day has arrived and I am currently inside the waiting room of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, waiting for the main event. My coach and I started doing some light mitt work as the main event inches closer.

//

The personnel knocked on our door and opened it. He called us to get ready. With my coach and I alone in this room, we prepared and looked at each other's eyes. We did not utter any words and just nodded simultaneously. There are no words between us, only fighting spirits of partners.

//

As we walked on the hallway and toward the ring, many booed me. I ignored and just jiggled my way with both gloves placed over my coaches shoulders.

After the officials checked me and said I am okay to go inside the ring, I slowly stepped and went inside. Then there, I saw the thousands of Thailanders and other visitors from different places in Asia. I could even see some western foreigners.

Coach Aaron started massaging my muscles to make sure I'm quite loose and ready. He removed my robe and handed it over to a personnel outside the ring.

He started applying jelly on my face and started reminding me of our strategy, which I will not follow in this match. I will end this in one round. I knew that this champion was good so I mentally added some percentages in my power so that I could easily knock out this guy.

We were called in the middle of the ring by the referee and started talking about rules. Once done, me and the champion touched gloves and went back to our corners.

My coach who was fiercely gazing at me nodded and tapped my face a bit hard and then, he went outside. The referee checked the ring to make sure everyone aside from the boxers were in the ring, aside from himself, he signaled to start the fight. The bell rang to start the first round.

//

At the first minute, we made some checks with light jobs and some occasional straights, but this dude kept his safe distance from me. He knew that my style was counter punching, I smiled at that. When it's 10 seconds before the 2 minute mark, I quickly got aggressive.

I could even clearly hear coach Aaron shouting on the sideline to stop what I am doing and keep my distance, I smiled at that which appears to have been noticed by this dude. I kept my smiling mouth and started being the aggressor. He first made some backstepping but when he noticed where I wanted him to be, which was the corner, he quickly made a defensive stance, but would that be enough?

With my current stats, I could even kill the strongest heavyweight human fighter on the planet. I started with a body blow, which was blocked by his arms, however, his face went grim as he felt the heaviness of my punch. I took advantage of it and started blowing him with volume punches.

With just a few seconds, he was not able to hold up so his defenses loosened up. With 30 seconds left from the first round, I made a fast uppercut which connected hard on his chin, his head arched backward but since I want to make sure my win here, I followed with a liver punch, his body arched forward then I followed with a curved hook to his right jaw and then followed with another uppercut.

I quickly followed with one, two, three, four, five, six, seven punches and then I saw the referee running towards us but I did not stop, however, the referee forced himself between us and stopped it. I controlled my next attack and stopped myself. I stepped back and saw the unconscious champion in the referee's embrace.

He waved both hands in the air declaring me as the winner via technical knockout. I put both fists up and coach Aaron ran to me and held me in my legs and lifted me up! His face was full of joy.

I won and became the champion at the age of 15. The new ABCO and WBC Flyweight Champion of the World. And with the new record of 14 Wins and 14 Knockouts.
