Chapter 3 - Rabbit

Jiro and Takeshi walked side by side through the dense forest, marveling at the unfamiliar sights that greeted them in this new world. Takeshi, in her form as a nine-tailed white fox girl, seemed very enthusiastic as she observed every plant and animal she encountered.

However, their tranquility was disrupted when suddenly a strange creature attacked them. The creature looked like a giant rabbit with horns on its head that emitted flashes of lightning.

"Watch out, Takeshi!" Jiro shouted, quickly pushing Takeshi aside as the giant rabbit leaped toward them.

Jiro swiftly activated his Absolute Dominion ability, feeling an extraordinary energy flow through his entire body. He raised his hand and tried to control the mind of the giant rabbit.

"Stop!" he commanded firmly.

However, the rabbit seemed unaffected by Jiro's command. It continued to leap and attack wildly, its horns striking toward them.

"Damn, it seems this creature has strong powers," Jiro muttered, realizing that his Absolute Dominion ability wasn't working well.

Takeshi, behind Jiro, screamed in fear as the giant rabbit got closer. "Jiro, what should we do?"

Jiro thought quickly. He decided to try using another ability given by the God.

"Takeshi, stay behind me!" Jiro ordered.

With quick movements, Jiro raised his hand and concentrated his energy. Suddenly, a strong column of wind surrounded the giant rabbit, restraining it from moving.

"What is this?" The rabbit roared in anger, trying to free itself from the wind's bondage.

Jiro focused his mind, controlling the wind with his Elemental Control ability. The wind grew stronger, binding the rabbit's movements so it couldn't move.

"Takeshi, run! I'll handle this creature," Jiro commanded.

Takeshi hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded and ran away, leaving Jiro to face the giant rabbit.

The rabbit struggled with all its might to break free, its horns emitting flashes of lightning. Jiro winced as the lightning almost struck him.

"You're a strong creature, but not strong enough to defeat me," Jiro growled. He focused his abilities again, the wind around the rabbit intensified, binding it more tightly.

The rabbit howled in pain, its body slammed into the ground hard. Jiro didn't allow it to get up, continuing to press and control the wind to keep the rabbit restrained.

The fierce battle lasted for several minutes until the giant rabbit finally became powerless. Jiro stopped exerting his abilities, letting the wind die down.

Takeshi, who had been watching from a distance, slowly approached Jiro with a look of disbelief.

"Jiro... You... You defeated it so easily," she said in an amazed tone.

Jiro nodded slowly. "I didn't expect to defeat this rabbit so easily either."

He approached the now defeated giant rabbit, examining it closely. "This creature is strong, but my ability to control the natural elements allowed me to overcome it."

Takeshi fell silent for a moment before asking hesitantly, "So... What will you do with it?"

Jiro thought for a moment, "I think we should bring it with us. Who knows, it might prove useful later on."

With his Absolute Dominion ability, Jiro lifted the body of the giant rabbit and brought it along with them, while Takeshi watched with an admiring gaze.

As they journeyed through the dense forest, Takeshi couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy upon witnessing Jiro's extraordinary abilities. His friend had easily defeated the giant rabbit earlier, as if nothing could impede his strength.

While she... Takeshi glanced at her beautiful white tail but still felt useless. She felt she was just a burden to Jiro, unable to do anything but run and hide.

Takeshi sighed deeply, causing Jiro to turn toward her.

"Hey, Takeshi. Why do you look so down?" Jiro asked, puzzled.

Takeshi shook her head slightly, "It's nothing, I'm just... I don't know. Feeling a bit strange."

Jiro frowned, "Strange? Are you okay? Is something bothering you?"

Takeshi hesitated for a moment, then spoke softly, "I... I just feel useless, Jiro. You look so strong, able to defeat that terrifying creature with ease. While I... I can only run and hide."

Jiro was silent, listening to his friend's complaint. He could see the envy and anxiety reflected in Takeshi's beautiful face.

"Takeshi, don't worry. The power the God gave me is indeed extraordinary, but you also have your own strengths," said Jiro, trying to comfort Takeshi.

"Strengths? What do you mean?" Takeshi looked up, gazing at Jiro in confusion.

Jiro smiled gently, "You see, your appearance is beautiful and graceful. I think it will also be very useful in the future. Who knows, you might find interesting things that I can't."

Takeshi was stunned, not expecting Jiro to say that. She looked down, staring at her elegantly swaying white tail.

"But... I didn't even want to become like this. I'm scared, Jiro. What if one day I truly become a girl?" she whispered anxiously.

Jiro gently patted Takeshi's back, "I'll always be with you, Takeshi. No matter what form you take, you're still my friend. We'll always be together."

Takeshi looked up, her eyes glassy with tears. For some reason, hearing Jiro's words made her feel more at ease. Perhaps it was true; her current appearance wasn't an issue for Jiro.

"Thank you, Jiro," she said sincerely.

Jiro beamed, "Now, let's find a place to rest. It seems we've come far enough from that creature."

They continued their journey, trekking through the darkening forest. A few moments later, Jiro stopped.

"Takeshi, look. It seems there's a cave over there," he pointed towards the cave entrance visible between the trees.

Takeshi nodded, "Let's check it out. Maybe we can rest there."

Cautiously, they approached the cave. Jiro sighed with relief; at least they could find shelter for the time being.
