Seeing Luo Yang's face turn red, Chen Jie giggled.
She helped her to the bathroom door.
"Sister Chen, do you need help?" Luo Yang asked.
"No need."
The toilet was Western style.
Chen Jie's foot had just been set and was still a bit painful.
But walking inside was no longer a problem.
"Niu Zai, I'm going to ask you two questions, and you need to answer truthfully. I'll ask one at a time, but before you answer, you need to swear to tell the truth," Chen Jie said with a smile.
Hearing this, Luo Yang felt like Chen Jie was setting a trap for him to fall into.
Even after swearing, one can still lie.
But doing so would make him feel a bit uncomfortable inside.
If it's not something very special, perhaps telling the truth would be fine.
Doing this would mean falling for Chen Jie's scheme.
Luo Yang laughed, "Sister Chen, let me know the questions first. If I can answer, I'll answer, okay?"
By playing this head stick, he could prevent Chen Jie from pulling any tricks.
Chen Jie laughed heartily, obviously aware that Luo Yang was prepared.
"Niu Zai, you can definitely answer. Swear first, and then I will ask you. I'm your elder sister and I won't embarrass you. Right? Hurry up and swear," Chen Jie urged with a laugh.
Upon hearing Chen Jie's mischievous laugh, it was clear to him that her mind was filled with mischief.
Luo Yang didn't want to fall into her trap, laughing, "Sister Chen, you first tell me what kind of question it is. Some questions, I can't answer. You go first. If I can answer, I will definitely swear."
Chen Jie's silvery laughter drifted out once more.
After a good laugh, Chen Jie finally said, "Niu Zai, it's about men and women. What can't you answer? You have so many at home."
Luo Yang replied with an embarrassed smile, "Sister Chen, you're thinking too much. Have you not sobered up yet? Come out quickly, I'll help you back to your room."
Without asking a question, Chen Jie wouldn't give up.
"Niu Zai, I said it's a normal question, what are you afraid of? I'm not going to eat you, am I? Swear." Chen Jie laughed.
"No way. You have to tell me exactly what the question is first, then I'll swear," Luo Yang laughed.
Somewhere deep down, Luo Yang guessed how Chen Jie might ask.
Thus, he didn't want to give her the chance to ask.
"Niu Zai, give me a cigarette to smoke first, okay?" Chen Jie had to put the serious matter aside.
Hearing that she wanted a cigarette, Luo Yang took one from his pocket, pulled out a stick, then slid it through the crack in the door.
Just then, Chen Jie was humming Teresa Teng's "I Only Care About You" softly.
"If I hadn't met you/
Where would I be?/
How would my days be passing by?/
Would life still be cherished?/
...
..."
"Hehe, how did I sing?" Chen Jie smiled coyly.
"Nice," Luo Yang replied.
"Won't you help me light it?"
Chen Jie passed the cigarette back through the door crack for him to light it.
Luo Yang took it, lit it with a lighter for her, and slid it back in.
"Niu Zai, are you still not swearing? What are you waiting for?" Chen Jie urged.
"Sister Chen, you won't tell me the question. You go first. Then I'll swear. Go ahead," Luo Yang laughed.
Knowing the question first is the only way to avoid falling into a trap.
"Hehe, once my foot stops hurting, I'll teach you to dance. How about that?" Chen Jie took a draw from the cigarette, skillfully holding it at the corner of her mouth.
Luo Yang wanted to learn to dance.
"That's fine."
"Then swear first, and I'll ask you a question," she repeated the same old request.
"Sister Chen, you won't even tell me the question," Luo Yang thought hard.
Who knew Chen Jie would suddenly switch to another subject again.
"Let me think. Giggling, my head still hurts. Now I feel like drinking again," Chen Jie laughed.
It's normal for girls to be forgetful.
