Luo Yang gave an awkward smile when his little trick was exposed.
"Sister Guihua, I didn't mean anything else by it," he said with a laugh.
"Go fool Yuying, don't think you can fool me," Tang Guihua said solemnly.
Their banter briefly made her forget about the truck incident.
"Sister Guihua, let's go back. You still need to take your medicinal bath. Once I open your governor and conception vessels, your body will feel much better. Learn some martial arts too, and ordinary men won't stand a chance against you," Luo Yang said.
Upon hearing this, Tang Guihua was tempted.
"Then you must teach me the trick that can beat a lot of people," she said coquettishly.
"Of course, I'll teach you the most powerful ones," Luo Yang promised.
So, driven by Tang Guihua, they returned to Qin Piao's house.
An Yuying had just finished her medicinal bath and was waiting for Luo Yang to massage her so that the medicinal effects would accelerate within her body.
On the way back, Luo Yang told Tang Guihua not to mention the truck to An Yuying.
There were two beds in Qin Piao's house, one for Qin Piao and the other for Luo Yang.
Hong Jiaxin was reading a book on the bed, so An Yuying had no choice but to lie down on Qin Piao's bed and let Luo Yang massage her.
Despite wanting to ask what Luo Yang and Tang Guihua had been up to, An Yuying found it inappropriate as Tang Guihua was right there observing Luo Yang's massage techniques.
Besides Tang Guihua, Qin Piao and Fang Lin were also watching.
Fang Lin asked, "How long does it take to open the governor and conception vessels by soaking in a medicinal bath?"
"It varies from person to person," Luo Yang replied.
Those with better physical condition might only need a few baths.
Fang Lin lived in the Village Office dormitory, and it was inconvenient for her to walk back and forth late at night.
"It's better to take the bath earlier," Fang Lin suggested.
"Sister Fang, why don't you move in with us? That would solve it," Luo Yang suggested.
"Is there a room available?" Fang Lin asked.
"You can sleep with me," Qin Piao chipped in.
"Then I'll move in with you guys tomorrow. Are the utility bills split or shared evenly?" Fang Lin inquired.
"I'll cover them," Luo Yang generously offered.
That settled the matter.
By the time all five beauties had finished their medicinal baths, it was past one in the morning.
Tang Guihua had gone home before midnight.
As they walked the night roads, Fang Lin feared encountering snakes, so Luo Yang accompanied her back to the Village Office dorm.
The distance from Qin Piao's house to the Village Office wasn't far.
Walking through the village, the night breeze was gentle, and the chirping of insects was especially serene.
Fang Lin turned on the flashlight on her phone to light the way.
Though the moonlight was bright enough to roughly see the ground, and the village road was cemented, she wouldn't trip over stones.
"Is that a snake?" Luo Yang suddenly asked.
"Where?"
As Fang Lin shone her light around and moved behind Luo Yang, she saw no sign of a snake.
"It probably slithered into the bushes," Luo Yang said with a laugh.
"Niu Zai, don't scare me," Fang Lin said nervously, waving her phone around.
"Sister Fang, let me carry you back. Hop on," he said.
As he spoke, Luo Yang slightly crouched down, readying his arms to lift Fang Lin.
Fang Lin didn't refuse and climbed onto Luo Yang's back.
Carrying Fang Lin, Luo Yang slowly walked towards the Village Office.
"Niu Zai, let me ask you a question," Fang Lin whispered into Luo Yang's ear.
"Go ahead," Luo Yang responded openly.
"How did you manage to win over Guihua and Yuying?" Fang Lin asked.
Luo Yang was unsure how to answer.
His relationships with the two village beauties had just naturally progressed without him intentionally pursuing them.
"Sister Fang, why do you ask that?" Luo Yang asked back.
"Just curious. They're both renowned beauties in the village, and yet they are willing to be with you… hehe," Fang Lin giggled.
"Sister Fang, am I that ugly?" Luo Yang laughed.
"No, no, I didn't mean that... hehe," Fang Lin said, bursting into laughter.
Her mouth was right next to Luo Yang's. When she spoke, the warm breath tickled his ear, and her laughter brought even more warmth.
The gentle, seductive sound softly moved from his ear to his upper body, causing Luo Yang to shiver intensely.
Rather quickly, he bent over, wrapped his hands around Fang Lin's thighs, and lifted her slightly.
"Niu Zai, why are you shaking me?" Fang Lin asked.
"Nothing, I just wanted to lift you up a bit, make it easier to carry you," Luo Yang straightened his back again.
Every few meters, Luo Yang bent down and gave Fang Lin a little shake.
At first, Fang Lin was clueless, but gradually, she caught on.
"Niu Zai, you're so naughty," she said with a playful laugh as she gently slapped Luo Yang's shoulder.
"Sister Fang, what's wrong?" Luo Yang asked with concern.
"You're teasing me," Fang Lin stated bluntly.
"Sister Fang, not at all. I'm very pure," Luo Yang laughed.
Along the way, Fang Lin waved her small fists, gently punching Luo Yang.
Upon arriving at the Village Office, Luo Yang carried Fang Lin on his back to the dormitory on the second floor.
Fang Lin turned on the light, and Luo Yang subconsciously glanced at her bed.
The first time he had visited her dorm, he saw cucumbers on the bed and wondered what they were for.
Having understood their use since then, he couldn't help but look for any trace of cucumbers now.
Seeing Luo Yang looking around, Fang Lin curiously asked, "Niu Zai, what are you looking for?"
Luo Yang casually replied, "Nothing, Sister Fang, have you finished your cucumbers?"
At his words, Fang Lin's cheeks turned red.
"They're finished," Fang Lin said shyly.
"Tomorrow I'll bring you a few more, big and long. The good kind," Luo Yang said.
"No need, I'll ask you when I need them," Fang Lin's ears turned crimson.
Glancing at Fang Lin's tender, soft body, Luo Yang smacked his lips, thinking: 'Sister Fang needs such big cucumbers, just like Sister Piao's eggplants, hehe.'
Seeing Luo Yang's eyes shining as he looked over, Fang Lin laughed out loud.
"What are you staring at now?" Fang Lin asked with a smile.
"Sister Fang, those pants look so good on you. Are they silk?"
As he spoke, Luo Yang walked over, leaned in closer, pretending to examine the fabric.
"Cotton," she responded.
"Cotton, oh, they do seem like cotton."
"Niu Zai, why are you touching my thigh?"
"Huh? Oh! Sister Fang, I was just checking whether your pants are cotton. They really are cotton," he said.
Seeing Luo Yang's innocent look, Fang Lin laughed and hit him lightly.
"Sister Fang, your shirt looks great too. Is that also cotton?" Luo Yang reached out his hand.
Fang Lin hastily waved his hand away.
"Trying to feel again?"
"Feel what?"
"You know exactly what," she retorted.
"Yes, yes, I just wanted to feel your shirt, see if it's cotton," he said.
Fang Lin listened, both amused and annoyed, and gave Luo Yang a light glare.
His little trick discovered, Luo Yang decided against further inspecting her shirt.
"Sister Fang, I'm heading off," Luo Yang bid his farewell.
"Hey, Niu Zai, can you help me move some stuff tomorrow?" Fang Lin stood at the door.
A faint scent wafted to him, and Luo Yang couldn't resist glancing over Fang Lin's upper body.
"Sure, I'll come over in the morning," Luo Yang agreed cheerfully.
"That night you carried me to see Guihua for treatment, thanks. I'll treat you to dinner sometime," Fang Lin said.
Recalling that night made Luo Yang embarrassed to bring it up.
He was just there to see if Fang Lin was having a 'cucumber battle', and it had coincidentally coincided with her appendicitis attack.
"Sister Fang, just help me manage the vegetable greenhouse well in the future. I'll treat you to dinner," Luo Yang said.
"I'll manage it with all my efforts. Boss, when you start the family-style resort, can I invest?" Fang Lin asked.
