Jesse's fingers twitched, his eyes opening to the silver rays of the moon as his body surged with energy but he could barely move from the spot where he laid, on the leaf-covered sandy ground.
Right now, Jesse was trying to process the recent happenings; he was still alive but someone else had died in his stead.
