Mjolnir slammed heavily into the ground in front of Thor.
In the next moment, Syd, floating in the air, made a slight movement and turned around.
As the others watched in astonishment, Syd was about to fly away when he suddenly remembered something. He turned back, glancing at Iron Man and the others with a mysterious expression, and said, "We'll meet again."
With that, a whoosh of air followed, and Syd quickly flew off into the distance, disappearing from their view.
He's leaving already?
Tony Stark and the others were stunned, their minds racing with confusion.
We'll meet again? What does that mean?
Furrowing his brows, Tony Stark suddenly had a realization and turned to Thor, asking with curiosity, "Do you know this guy?"
"Did you recognize him?" Tony asked, recalling the mysterious words spoken by Syd before his departure.
Captain America also turned his gaze to Thor, equally perplexed.
In the distance, Loki, who had overheard their conversation, narrowed his eyes slightly, then froze as images flashed through his mind. He was struck by a sudden realization.
At this moment, Thor glanced at them with a hint of excitement and said, "That guy had a red glow on his hands!"
"I remember who he is now!"
"He might be the kinsman I've been searching for!"
As Thor spoke, his expression turned anxious, murmuring, "He might even be my brother…"
At these words, Loki, far off, felt a mix of resentment and bitterness welling up inside him.
Tony Stark and Steve Rogers were left in shock.
"Brother?"
"That person is your brother?" Tony Stark asked, astonished.
Thor, his excitement settling slightly, said nervously, "I'm not certain, but I believe so."
"He's likely also a child of my father, and that mysterious divine power isn't something ordinary Asgardians possess!"
Hearing this, Tony Stark and Captain America exchanged glances, their mutual astonishment evident.
Suddenly, Tony Stark hesitated and asked, "The guy who might be your brother—his power is so overwhelming?"
"Compared to his strength…"
"It's truly incredible…" Tony Stark murmured in awe.
Though his words were incomplete, Thor understood the implication and felt a pang of awkwardness. He wasn't sure what to say.
At that moment, he also felt a sense of loss.
"Yes, why is my strength so weak…"
Thor thought back to the struggle against the Midgardians. Even dealing with just two had been somewhat challenging…
"If only I had his power…"
Thor's eyes reflected envy.
If he possessed such strength, the Midgardians wouldn't dare to offend him, and even his father would be proud!
As he pondered, Thor recalled the words of the supposed brother.
Runestone King? Does such a thing really exist?
Thor's face showed hesitation.
At this point, Tony Stark furrowed his brows.
He had picked up on a keyword from the divine being's statement, murmuring, "Red glow?"
Recalling the faint red glow from the mysterious figure's hands, Tony Stark felt a twinge of familiarity.
For some reason, Tony Stark found that red glow oddly familiar.
After thinking for a few seconds, he suddenly had an idea, his mouth slightly agape.
"It shouldn't be possible…"
Tony Stark shook his head vigorously, finding his thought amusing.
A deity from Asgard being that white-clad figure, the Omega mutant?
Tony Stark dismissed the idea, thinking he was overthinking it.
"It's probably just a coincidence that the energy was red…"
The more he thought about it, the more convinced he became.
At this moment, a voice interrupted.
"Hi, have you finished your fight?"
Loki emerged from the shadows with a hint of mockery.
Seeing Loki approaching, both Tony Stark and Captain America frowned.
"You didn't escape?" Tony Stark asked, suspiciously.
Loki shrugged, "You faced danger alone here; of course, I couldn't bear to leave you…"
Even Thor didn't believe Loki's words at this moment.
The three men warily watched Loki.
"What's your angle?" Thor asked suspiciously.
Knowing his brother's nature better than these Midgardians, Thor was certain that Loki wouldn't stay here without some ulterior motive. He should have disappeared the moment the battle began.
Perhaps what remained was just an illusion…
Thor briefly hesitated and then punched Loki on the shoulder. Hearing a pained grunt, he finally relaxed.
But he was even more confused.
While he didn't understand what Loki was up to, they decided to capture him.
Having fought together, Thor glanced at the Midgardians and decided to cooperate temporarily.
At that moment, Black Widow Natasha, piloting a fighter jet, arrived.
As the jet landed, the three men boarded with Loki in custody.
Soon, the sound of the jet's engine starting filled the air.
Black Widow flew them toward the aircraft carrier high in the sky.
From a distance, Syd watched the jet depart and followed it quietly.
...
In the sky at nearly ten thousand meters, a massive floating aircraft carrier drifted silently.
Inside the carrier, a team of soldiers escorted Loki to the prison cells.
Soon, Loki was placed in a specialized glass and iron cage.
"If you even try to scratch the glass lightly…"
Nick Fury, wearing a black leather jacket and an eye patch, stared intensely at Loki and warned, "The cage will drop you from nine thousand meters."
"Understand?"
As he gave the warning, Nick Fury demonstrated it for Loki.
Finally, as Loki's foot was about to touch the cage glass, Nick Fury added, "Ant, your foot."
Loki chuckled, withdrawing his foot and complimenting, "This design is impressive. It wasn't meant for me, was it?"
Nick Fury glanced at him, "The things meant for you are far worse."
"I heard it's a wild beast," Loki smiled. "You must be quite desperate to need such a monster to guard you."
He then looked toward Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk.
Nick Fury frowned slightly but did not respond. Instead, he focused on Thor and Bruce Banner.
"Can you tell me what happened when you captured Loki?"
He had heard from Tony Stark and others that a lot had transpired during the capture.
