Boom!
A massive roar echoed, and immediately after, Manda fell to the ground. Staring at the fallen Manda, Kurama let out a sigh before reverting back to his small fox form. Without crawling, he strode back to his fox den with large steps.
"F@&£… Damn it! Do you really think I can't tell that was just your Tailed Beast Bomb? What kind of martial arts master are you, throwing it around like that?"
Alexander watched the excited fox and found himself at a loss for words. Glancing around for Athena, who was nowhere to be seen, Alexander could only sigh and say, "It's getting late. Let's head back home."
With that, Alexander turned and left. Meanwhile, Tohru was about to discard Manda's body in a secluded spot when Kanna suddenly tugged at her clothes.
"What's up, Kanna-chan?" Tohru asked curiously.
Kanna looked at Manda and replied, "Erina said last time that snake meat soup is delicious."
Tohru immediately understood what Kanna meant. Excitedly, she exclaimed, "Then let's go find Erina for dinner!"
With that, Tohru hoisted Manda's body onto her shoulders and left. Poor Manda—once the mighty boss of Ryūchi Cave and one of the most powerful Summoning beasts in the world of Naruto—had now been reduced to mere dinner ingredients.
Just thinking about it made Tohru's mouth water.
Meanwhile, as Alexander returned to rest, Shinobu turned to her sister, Kanae, and said, "Sister, let me take you out for a walk. This world is really interesting." With Kanae's resurrection, Shinobu's once cold personality had softened, and now she was eager to explore.
Kanae, also new to this world, was equally excited to see what it had to offer. She had heard that the city lights up beautifully at night and, best of all, there were no demons to worry about. So, the sisters happily left to explore the town.
Unlike Alexander's group, who were off enjoying their leisure activities, things were different in the Villain Alliance's basement.
"My Manda… has lost contact." Orochimaru muttered as he stared at the Summoning scroll in his hand. Athena, standing nearby, also wore an embarrassed expression.
"I'm sorry for what happened to your Summoning beast," Athena said. As the goddess of wisdom, she knew what had transpired, but she hadn't expected Manda, such a formidable creature, to be defeated so quickly. Was that place really that dangerous?
"It's nothing," Orochimaru replied, though his eyes flashed coldly. "Just don't forget what you promised me." Even though Orochimaru lacked typical human emotions, Manda had been his companion for so long that the loss was still painful.
Athena nodded, "Don't worry. As promised, when I return to the God Slayer world, I'll help you kill a god and transform you into a God Slayer. While it won't make you immortal, it will give you the eternal life you seek."
This was the crux of Orochimaru and Athena's agreement. Orochimaru's desire for immortality was no secret. Compared to becoming a demon who fears sunlight or a vampire who must drink blood to survive, transforming into a god or a God Slayer was a far better option—both powerful and free from such weaknesses.
To be honest, Orochimaru would have killed Athena himself to become a God Slayer if he didn't need Pandora from that world to perform the transformation ceremony.
"Okay, Goddess," Orochimaru continued, "but what about Deidara and Doma? Are they finished?"
White, who was nearby, couldn't help but ask, "Did Alexander really take them down? He's far more powerful than I expected. Could he truly be our creator? This is getting more interesting!"
However, White still doubted the strength of those Shinobi. They might be considered masters in their world, but they're weaklings here. They couldn't even beat Doma, who's the weakest among them. They're no real threat.
"As for Alexander, When it comes down to it, I could easily wipe the floor with a few of them."
Orochimaru, considering the situation, shook his head, "Forget it. Let's regroup and gather our strength. I've heard strange things are happening in the East District. I think a powerful descendant has appeared. I'm going to check it out—maybe we can find some new allies."
"They'd better be strong," White scoffed. "We don't need any more weaklings like Doma!"
Orochimaru nodded silently, "Don't worry. I understand."
