"Dear Athena, you have to understand that drawing a snake(Authority) for you isn't something I can just casually do," Alexander said, feeling helpless. These descendants are all the same—they go through the same predictable cycle: first, they realize they're cartoon characters and have a breakdown; then they try to find the author to change their fate or vent their anger; and finally, they collapse again when they realize it's impossible.
Although each person's reaction varies depending on their personality, the general pattern remains consistent.
"I understand," Athena replied calmly. "I can offer you compensation."
Little Athena's response was as poised as one would expect from a goddess. She was rational, and she offered benefits when asking for a favor, which made dealing with her quite pleasant.
But...
"I've already drawn your people; what more could you offer me?" Alexander responded with a sigh. It was clear that little Athena was still quite naive.
Hearing Alexander's words, Athena glanced at the women surrounding Alexander, then looked at herself. She then said, "This body is only equivalent to that of a six-year-old human girl. Although I wouldn't mind, I believe there's a law that mandates the death penalty for this kind of thing, starting at three years."
Alexander was taken aback. What was going on? Was this girl really treating him like some sort of pervert? Did he leave such a bad impression?
Seeing Alexander's helpless expression, Kanna immediately jumped to his defense. She pumped her little fists and shouted, "Alexander onii-chan isn't the kind of person you think he is!"
Alexander was touched by Kanna's words. It seemed he hadn't loved her in vain.
"Alexander onii-chan is just a lolicon; he's not a criminal!" Kanna continued, but Alexander felt like he had just been stabbed in the heart.
Lolicon? Since when did I become a lolicon! I'm a beautiful woman-control, okay?
"What? So the master likes lolis? No wonder he agreed to collaborate with me so easily!" Nero remarked with a puzzled expression, looking at Alexander.
Damn it! Nero, please stop making things worse!
"Oh my, does Alexander really like lolis?" Kurumi chimed in with a mischievous smile. She then whispered in a mock-upset tone, "Actually, as the Spirit of Time, I can control my age too. If you prefer lolis, it wouldn't be impossible for me to change, right, Onii~chan?"
Kurumi! You're doing this on purpose! You're definitely doing this on purpose! What I like is no secret to anyone, least of all to you! Wait, you can control your age? How is that fair?
But where is my mind wandering off to? And looking at Athena's expression now—what's with that look of disgust and contempt?
Alexander suddenly felt that even if he jumped into the Yellow River, he wouldn't be able to wash himself clean.
Athena then asked, "Are all of you really part of this guy's harem? It seems what [White] said is true—Alexander isn't a good person."
Harem? What harem?
Even though Alexander was inwardly frustrated, he couldn't deny that he had indeed managed to gather these women.
He felt a bit worn out. Maybe it really isn't advisable to play the bad guy and then pretend to be a saint.
With that thought, Alexander proudly declared, "Hmph, is it wrong for a man to want to have a harem?"
Athena was taken aback...
Huh? Is this guy really admitting it? Seriously... What do I even say to that?
But surprisingly, none of the women present seemed to mind.
Nero? As the Roman emperor who had witnessed the excesses of Emperor Caligula, she didn't find it strange at all.
Tohru and Kanna? They're dragons, so human societal norms don't apply to them.
Kurumi? Haven't you watched [Date A Live]? Isn't having a harem pretty much standard?
As for Altair and Setsuna, who were watching from not far away, they acted as if it had nothing to do with them.
Kanae, who had experienced life and death and seen through the mortal world, was also unfazed.
The only one who wasn't very pleased was Shinobu, because she suddenly felt that this villain had no intention of sparing her sister. The problem was that her sister didn't seem to mind, either. It's over... Are my sisters about to be wiped out?
Listening to Alexander's shameless declaration, Athena seemed to finally grasp an old saying: shameless people are truly invincible.
Resigned, Athena said, "Since that's the case, I can only resort to force. Goodbye, everyone. The next time we meet, it won't be someone like Douma or a minor character like Deidara. See you then!"
