In Alexander's house, the entire Straw Hat Pirates were exploring everything with great curiosity. Nami was engrossed in a fashion magazine, Robin was absorbed in a history book, and Sanji was studying a recipe. Zoro, being more relaxed, sipped on the Red Horse that Alexander had given him. Meanwhile, Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp surrounded Alexander like three curious children, pointing at various things on the TV and asking questions.
"Alexander, what's this? Is it a pirate ship?"
"That's an aircraft carrier."
"Alexander, what kind of weapon is this? Is it a sniper rifle?"
"That's an M40A5 sniper rifle, a very advanced weapon."
"Alexander, can I eat these marshmallows?"
"Don't eat too many, you'll get a toothache."
Alexander felt overwhelmed by their questions and wondered how Nami managed to take care of these guys. Suddenly, he had an idea. He turned on the Internet TV, selected the complete series of One Piece, and said, "Okay, you three, be good and watch this anime. It's very interesting."
"Huh? One Piece? What's that?" Luffy asked blankly.
"Just watch it," Alexander replied.
He started the anime from the Alabasta arc, a story they had already experienced. Soon, the trio was captivated by the show.
"Wow! This is our story! My God! It's exactly the same, but where is Alexander?" Luffy asked curiously.
"Luffy, Alexander is from another world. This anime shows what would happen without him," Usopp explained.
"Really? That's so interesting!" Luffy exclaimed.
Other crew members, curious about the show, started watching too. Robin, seeing herself join the crew in the anime, began to think it might be a good idea in real life.
Nami, fast-forwarding through the battles to get to the main events, irritated Luffy, who didn't want to miss his highlights. As they reached the Sky Island and Water 7 arcs, the crew saw the conflicts and reconciliations that awaited them.
Usopp, watching his fight with Luffy over the Going Merry, admitted, "I wouldn't want to give up the Merry either."
The crew was moved by the anime's portrayal of their future struggles and victories. When they saw Robin's sacrifice to save them from CP9, Luffy shouted, "Robin, you can't go! You're my crew!"
Nami smacked him and said, "Robin hasn't joined our pirate team yet. What are you doing?"
Realizing Robin hadn't officially joined yet, Luffy declared, "Robin is part of our crew! She's our historian now!"
Robin felt touched by Luffy's words and began to seriously consider joining the Straw Hat Pirates.
